According to food writer Josh Ozersky, it's the "best new-school burger in America...[it] synthesizes the best of old and new: specialty meat, squishy buns, intense seasoning, and cast-iron searing."

Yes, you heard right, the burger is dope. They recommend it medium but I would go medium rare. Great crunchy exterior to the patty. Upgrade to the parm fries. You won't be disappointed.

i like the small size of this restaurant, and the burger was indeed very good. i'd order a burger or a steak. the porcini bread pudding was remarkable. nice service, cozy, affordable, forgettable.

off-menu pizza w. a super-crispy crust that's built in a cast-iron skillet-dough is put in the pan to cook w. toppings added as it goes; whole thing is quickly finished in an oven

Saddle up to the bar or grab a quaint table at this EV gem. Don't even hesitate on the Brie appetizer or burger, both go down easy with their slightly spicy red sangria. Old school tunes top it off.

Small menu but everything is cooked to perfection. Try the lentils and of course their signature burger is hands down my favorite in the city.

Must get the Kale Ceasar Salad, Spiced Lentil Stew, Roasted Pumpkin (if u want sweet) and Crispy Salmon Main. Main dishes come w/2 sides of your choice. Porcini potatoes, fries, mushrooms, cous cous!

Yep, it lives up to the hype: get the burger. It's like the best backyard "America" burger you've ever had. White bun, well seasoned and juicy beef, gooey cheese, caramelized onions, and dark fries.

Beef is the star of the show in the steak house burger. The thick patty is seasoned liberally & pan-seared for a sturdy crust, gushing with funky flavor that pools up in the loosely packed interior. Read more

Ground beef, steak trimmings, and deckle, then heated to medium rare perfection in a cast iron skillet -- it's like you're eating a tiny pseudo-steak covered in American and caramelized onions. Read more

Awesome- Burger not on the menu- amazing. Also they said two beautiful words: complimentary dessert. And then they said "donut holes" coupled with "mashed potato" I don't know how but I loved it.

Only tried the Michlada - very good. I hear that the burger is excellent (says a good friend of mine), that Entemanns is better than the sawdust donut they serve at brunch. Otherwise I will be back.

One small bite into the Steak House Burger and you will appreciate the delectable patty with the caramelized onions’ quality, subtle taste. Add a kick by ordering their spicy, homemade hot sauce.

Great small plates, in particular the chicken wings, kale salad and lentil dish. Had no reservation, but got a seat at the bar. You might want to reserve, in particular if more than 2 people.

Wonderful burger, get it medium rare. You can taste all the umami from the dry aged blend of meat. Great beer selection but tight space so don't come with a massive party.

First tried this burger at GoogaMooga. The Googa debacle (long lines) was worth it considering I was introduced to this burger. They don't always have it on menu for dinner so you may have to ask.

Came here to try the steakhouse burger and it was really good, but it was on the smaller side and the bun was just one of those really cheap buns you can pick up at any grocery store.

The best cheeseburger in New York. They use dry aged steak scraps that give it a unique and complex flavor. The fried chicken sandwich with kale and pecorino is also a must-try.

One of the best burgers in the city, with a crust that puts all others to shame. The spaghetti and meatballs is also spectacular. As are the donuts.

You think you want the fried chicken, but you really want the burger with american cheese, caramelized onions and fries, cooked medium. Sometimes you need to really listen to yourself.

Burger is the freaking best. I don't eat cheese and worried it would make the burger less awesome; it did not. Fries are dark and crunchy. Eat every single one.

The burger is worth it. It's only $14 and comes with fries. Choice of beers are ok, nice selection of seasonals. Only two on drafts, which is disappointing. The rest are bottled or cans.

Burger is indeed tasty. Donuts are about half-size if not smaller; keep that in mind when making ordering decisions. Salted caramel's the best flavor.

Sebastian’s Steakhouse Burger, $15 The key is not the dry-aged beef. It’s chef Jeremy Spector’s much-imitated decision to treat this primo protein as a Greek-diner fry cook might.

Burger was alright, however, the waiter confusing which burger was cooked at which temp left me with an extremely dry well done burger and my friend with the medium rare option. Not worth the hype
