Best bar in the area
I try to find a seat in the back, or play pool. I don't find the bar stools comfortable.
Feels like a hidden secret. My whiskey and ginger was on the strong side, not that I'm complaining...
Nice cozy spots around inside. Standard old fashioned
Don't know much about up front but in back they've got a good pool table and a great juke box
Cash only, bring quarters for the pool table in the back room.
Looks tiny at first, but this bar is really spacious! It's pretty easy to get a table on a weekend night.
most legit bar in brooklyn
Great neighborhood bar. Good beer selection and prices.
Love this bar so much, it's the perfect Friday evening wind from the week type of a bar..
classic old BK bar w ice cold beers
Favorite bar in the city. Good for dates, group gatherings, everything.
Probably my favorite place to grab a pint
Loved the vibe - old New York at its finest.
good beer. cash only. great historic location.
Chill, "fancy" dive bar tucked into the neighborhood. Pool table. V cozy.
Cozy and sexy vibe with locals and newbies. Great place to grab a drink and get close in a corner.
What a Great Bar. What a Great bartender
Oldest and best bar in brooklyn. Best barkeeper. Wow, we're impressed
Very dark but once your eyes adjust, cool as f.
Grab a cozy spot in the back.
Nice old school feel with strong, cheap drinks. It's dark and there's pool, if you're into that kind of stuff.
Great prices and good selection. Grab a Red Breast and play some pool.
A nice, unassuming bar with a great ambience. It was so chill, people didn't even make a big deal when Dan Cortese walked in.
Cool, chill, classic. Tucked away from Smith St. Love it.
Feels like a classy dive and perfect on a chilly day. Cozy interior and a pool table in back.
Cool, dark, bar with some history. Bartenders are some of the nicest in the city, that I've come across.
Just moved here from Australia. They do NOT have bars like this back home. So much wood, so many candles, so much class. So good for a local bar.
Local place full of weirdos, writers, nerds, and hotties of all genders and persuasions. Sometimes funny stuff happens here.
Girth is great
Place blows up on weekend but it's a good date place. Jonathan Ames and John Hodgeman supposedly come here a lot but I've never seen them.
Bring a date here. They'll think you're cool for knowing the best bar in the neighborhood isn't on Smith or Court streets. Have a beer at the bar.
Enjoy a game of pool under the newly renovated bar’s dim lights.
Fun, cheap, and pretentious.
People seem a bit too up themselves here
No longer dog friendly as of October 2013 :(
Pool isn't free, $1.50 a game. Cash only at this bar... there is an ATM though.
When making bets: No fireball and only jäger under duress.
Old School and Amazing. Go now and go often
Back by popular demand after closing, The Brooklyn Inn has a sleek vintage decor and was mentioned in The Village Voice's top ten jukebox bars!
This is my bar, not yours. Jk. Come have fun, but don't.
Great local off the beaten track and one of the oldest. Great jukebox - explore!
best classic bar
Closed for "renovations?" The most beautiful bar in Brooklyn with just the right aged patina doesn't need any reservations at all. What's going on?
oldest bar in brooklyn, i believe. used to be a teahouse during prohibition and you would press a button if you wanted booze in your tea.
