Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. If they gentrified the old brick section of heaven, this place would be the neighborhood bar. Get a Brooklyn Lager and enjoy.
Laid back, old school Brooklyn bar. Dark but not seedy. A little romance and little badass. Free pool
Play Pool + Drink a Guinness
My local. Great jukebox, pool table, oldest bar in Brooklyn, all around awesome.
I recommend this old-fashioned yet spiffy bar. Plenty of space for larger gatherings in the back rooms, and great juke.
Great martinis and really nice place for an early evening or Saturday afternoon drink. Pretty space, high ceilings, nice light in the afternoon, great music
Well made martinis and inexpensive beers at this old-time Brooklyn bar.
You can bring a well behaved dog (on leash)
Bartender Jason has been around the block, and is probably one of the best in New York. Watch for him as "cop" on Law & Order.
i have no real useful tip other than go now and go often. lovely atmosphere, lovely guinness, lovely new favorite.
Back by popular demand after closing, The Brooklyn Inn has a sleek vintage decor and was mentioned in The Village Voice's top ten jukebox bars!
There is just something about corner bars. Call me if you are going.
Great bar. Perfect beers on tap. Historically good seating karma. Hot bros in interesting shirts. Wyatt Cenac sightings. Have fun.
My girlfriend lost a light grey long cardigan here. Two years ago. If anyone has seen it, please email me at email@example.com. Social media at its best!!!
now with premium likker!
Know the history of the bar? Ask the bartender while you order up a pint. A little knowledge with your adult beverage.
Cozy neighborhood bar with one mean Bloody Mary. You might even bump into Jason Schwatzman. Boom!
Definitely the best pool table in the neighborhood. I would know!
They're dog friendly!
Quaint place to hang for a beer if you don't want to go to crowded Smith St. Bartenders are always nice and the atmosphere is great.
Good ale and generous wine portions
This bar is pretty white. Like Chicago bro stylze
Bars are supposed to be dark. This place nails it with the street lights brightening the place more than the indoor flourescents. POW!
Come here on weeknights and avoid the crowds. Sunday night after 9 is soo chill.
Best. Bar. Ever.
Cash only but all the other features of this dive makes up for that.
Dark, good beers, good jukebox, not too crowded on a warm Friday night. A+
Make friends with the mayor. She's badass.
Jukebox and pool table and old Brooklyn charm.
Love the bklyn inn.
Definitely play a game of pool in the back.
No longer dog friendly as of October 2013 :(
Pool isn't free, $1.50 a game. Cash only at this bar... there is an ATM though.
When making bets: No fireball and only jäger under duress.
Old School and Amazing. Go now and go often
This is my bar, not yours. Jk. Come have fun, but don't.
Great local off the beaten track and one of the oldest. Great jukebox - explore!
best classic bar
Closed for "renovations?" The most beautiful bar in Brooklyn with just the right aged patina doesn't need any reservations at all. What's going on?
oldest bar in brooklyn, i believe. used to be a teahouse during prohibition and you would press a button if you wanted booze in your tea.
Love this place. Coolest old Brooklyn hang in whole borough.
It's Tom that we should all be writing about. He's the boss. Forget all of those bullshit bars w suspenders and handlebars .. This guy is for reals.
Awesome spot, great bar. Bartender could do with cheering up though!!
Maude and Morty own the pool table!
It's a cool, dimly-lit place with big windows. Makes for fun people watching.
Fair thee be warned...CASH only. I did dishes for an hour ;)
