The California Museum, formerly The California Museum for History, Women and the Arts – home of the California Hall of Fame – is housed in the State Archives Building in Sacramento, one block from the State Capitol.
Sacramento has been a destination for many travelers since the Gold Rush (lots of history) Downtown Sacramento has lots of museums! check them all out! This museum has CA's rich history!
Japanese Internment exhibit was great. Not a ton of other stuff there but still a good, educational way to spend a few hours.
