Stephen Colbert is ridiculous! I can't stop laughing! AND his studio is located in Hell's Kitchen. It's like taking a trip home. ;-)
Get there early (4:45 or 5), as they assign seats in order of audience members' arrival.
Snag same-day tix via @dailytix!
use the VIP line at a taping of The Colbert Report.
Get a "white ticket" from the security guy after getting inside the lobby to get front row seating!
Bring a question for Colbert (the actor), who will answer several out of character before the taping starts.
Don't worry, it's only a 'character'...
If you stick around after the show for long enough, Stephen will usually take a picture with you or sign something.
Catch a WristStrong Bracelet! Big Fan of @StephenAtHome! GO Colbert Nation!!!!
Try the veal.
Best day of my life! Asked Stephen a Lord of the Rings question and got schooled. #notworthy
There is no white ticket. Cancelled a while back. Red ticket is vip. Blue is normal peon status. CHUNG WAS WRONG
Great experience! Get there earlier for a better seat and get ready to wait for a while! Totally worth it!
Steven (yes, we're on a first name basis) is an awesome host in person. Don't worry if you get a blue ticket, not a bad seat in the house.
If there is 1 TV show to see a live taping of in NY its this 1 and The Daily Show. Colbert is my hero
Waited in the standby line for the Colbert Report show.
It was awesome. Steven is great with the audience. Also a very quick experience.
Quite a few people made it in and arrived shortly after 5 pm. We came in earlier and took advantage of the D'agostino's nearby for restrooms and food
A buddy is Colbert's brother-in-law. It is accepted wisdom that Stephen is only the third funniest person in his family. Stephen's drive for success comes from getting his butt kicked by his sisters.
No weapons, no drugs, no cameras. They do checks.
What a great night! Colbert is a true American Hero!
Need road sodas for the line
Expect a long wait. Check in right away with your online tickets and you can use your phone to show them your confirmed ticket.
Fun show to see live! Come prepared with questions for Stephen Colbert. He does a Q & A before the show.

Colbert is incredible, great way to spend an evening in NYC! for those trying to find tickets,
Check-in is at 6, though they recommend you arrive at least 15 min before that. They overbook significantly. Do NOT show up at 5:45! Show up at 4pm! Line was already forming around this time.
Try the Steven!
Great times! Well worth a try
The best time you can have in New York for free! Hilarious and also cool to see how the show is put together. Bring a jacket - so cold!
Funny as shit.
Get in line early. Dress warmly.
I loveee Colbert!!!! Awesomeeee
Best use of an afternoon ever.
If you're a guest on the show, or a friend of one and tag along, you get to meet Stephen Colbert (the real one, not the character). Do it!
We were given the red ticket!!!!
Were o. TV!
Be in line at least an hour before.
Get there early and bring entertainment!
Consider bringing bug spray.
Bring a book to read while you wait.
All day. Everyday
Get here early (before 4:45) because seating is determined mainly by ticket order. Bring a book and a snack... The wait is LONG, but Stephen does not disappoint!
park right in the lot but only after 5pm it's only 8.45$ for the whole night.
No graffito taggin!
