Check out the balcony on the second floor, overlooking the street. It's a great way to get a close up look at the corn murals.

The corn palace would be a short visit, the building is decorated with corn murals, inside it carries the corn theme thoughout the medium size venue. It serves delicious popcorn. But that's all it is

The exterior is pretty cool for about fifteen minutes. Then you can leave. Inside, the photos of previous designs are kind of cool, but the trinkets and snack bar aren't worth your time.

The corn art is really well done. The gift shop inside is lame but what does anyone really expect?

The point is that this has been here for years. If you are interested in historic locations you should go when around the Mitchell area.

Very missable. It is literally a gym in the middle of town with corn glued to it. Gift shop is across the street and not unique. SKIP.

Totally corny, but the corn folk art was impressive, and the short video was interesting. The restaurant across the street to the south should be avoided at all costs.

Wow, the epitome of hokey tourist destination. Walked along the outside just to say I've been here but wouldn't go out of my way to stop here

It's kinda cool outside until you go inside and realize it's just a gym that happens to have corn all over it...

Kinda lame. It was under construction, but still open. The outside is covered in corn husks. OK. Inside is a gymnasium. The popcorn balls were pretty good.

This was neat and thankfully free... I wish the other businesses around it were still open. Seems kind of sad around there.

Don't make any "this place is so corny!" jokes with the locals. They already want to stab you with an ear of corn.
