In May of 2004, The Delancey opened its doors to a warm welcome from the lower east side. The three level club is home to a downstairs music venue, main level bar, and the only all weather rooftop garden of its kind peering out onto the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge.
The music was current and popular, the crowd was fun and the people were attractive. Good place to hang out. I like the patio
Great music to dance to
A santacon 2015 destination. Avoid
Absolutely brilliant. Three floors. Three different scenes. Great fort a first date, bachelor party or picking up a new fling.
You should definitely try to make a reservation for a table because this place gets packed and fast!
Greeeeat rooftop. Really friendly staff too. Most basic (in the worst sense of the bud light word) beer selection, regrettably. It's like an InBev showroom. There is more to life than Stella Artois.
The rooftop is a nice space to host an event
A decent spot to see a band, but beware the $30 minimum on cards!
Great for rooftop day drinking
Cool setup with 3 different floors and vibes. Weird odor on the top floor is what scheved me from the get go. Bar tenders up there did not practice good service. Not cool for drinks at NYC premiums.
the rooftop area is way better than the downstairs bar area
Top floor is killer
FREE tequila shot with proof of unemployment.
This use to be our favorite location to go to on Fridays after work. The last floor has an open roof (on nice days) but you can't hear the music from there.
Ehhhh dive bar with young college students. Don't confuse this place w/the DL
Avoid this place. Plenty of better options.
Love that rooftop bar in any weather! Lots of room to dance and chill on the main floor.
Heated rooftop type upstairs in the winter
Lounge upstairs and 2 more floors of dancing, music, and bars. Nice but it's thin and can get cramped.
Great Sunday day parties. Current Hip hop and reggae!! The rooftop is so nice. I love this party.
While it could do with a tad more lighting, the rooftop is lovely. Staff is friendly and attentive, and drinks are reasonably priced. Rooftop is covered and heated.
Great rooftop bar, though it gets packed pretty quickly.
Cool rooftop with lots of plants. A little cramped though, so probably best for a quieter day of the week
This…is the Times Square of locals.
If you are in a frat, have ever been in a frat, or like being in Times Square, then this is the bar for you. Absolute. Nightmare.
avoid this place in general. overcrowded, $30 minimum for credit cards and overplayed avicci songs.
$30 minimum on credit cards.... Wow.
Don't come here! The drinks are horrible and the bartenders worst! They hate you! The security guys too.
The drinks were expensive and the service was terrible. Only worth going if you reserve a rooftop table.
$14 for 2 Stella's? Nah.
dancehall & reggae nights every thursday, Thotmir approved 👍
What? no. hell no.
Was awesome! Jamaican Reggae and Ska all night !
Who doesn't love dancing to reggae with djmaxglazer ?!?!
$30 credit card minimum downstairs. nbd.
Not a bad place, just in a weird neighborhood.
I love the rooftop bar and the Shaken and Stirred Burlesque is free!!!
Everything you hate in a stereotypical NYC bar
I really want to hate this place, but the music alone is redeeming. Cozy up on da roof with a cute someone too!
Great place to hear shitty electronica!
Great spot for live music.
Wish it's been longer. This place is the worst.
Sundays + Mondays: 2 for 1 well drinks
Drinks r great. Cool people
Wanna thank all who came out to The Delancey tonight!!! Definitely appreciate all the positive feedback & comments from those who came to the booth. Hope to see you all again NEXT WEEK!!
Overcrowded and bro'ed out. The rooftop bar looks like the inside of a hollister store.
The Chinese barmaid is rude and over charged us on our drinks...then demanded that we tip her afterwards. Will never gig there again....
Sooo overpriced!! NOT WORTH IT!!! And a hike from everything else
