Be sure to stop by La Loggia in the lobby area. It may look a tad bit stuff and over-sophisticated, but cocktails are served with class and they have nightly happy hour beer and wine specials.

Great lobby with talented pianist. Look for deals online. Daily rate was over $800/night but we got it for $130'ish. Room doors slam so be prepared for a noisy morning when guests are checking out.

Don't go to Juniper, the Fairmont Restaurant, if you are up for a walk. Go to Riz, or better yet Eric Ripert's West End Bistro, two blocks away at the Ritz-Carlton. Read more
