The Farmhouse showcases local farms and food producers by featuring award-winning local burgers, comfort entrees, artisan cheeses & vegetarian options.
Before you go inside the second door to the restaurant, you'll see a wooden door on the right. Follow it. Trust me.
This place is great. Best staff in town. I hear people complain about the prices, but I am happy to pay a few extra bucks knowing that it's going back to local farmers and supporting our community!
Generally speaking more bang for your buck on half size pours
Rock out with your pint in the pair of rocking chairs on the back patio.
So rad they opened up the bar downstairs with the fireplace for winter!
Check out downstairs while you wait for a table or shoot a game of darts while having a beer with a fire close by. It's a great new addition.
There's a relatively unknown patio out back, great place to have drinks when you don't want to see anyone you know ;)
If you like your hops make sure to try Hill Farmstead's "Edward"
Excellent beer list. I'd say best in town!
The Portebella White Bean Burger is excellent.
This is a concept place. Want to play an active role in supporting the development of the local food chain? Get out your wallet and don't look at the prices. Price conscious? Probably not for you!
Back beer garden is perfect in late September. Jazz is good but too loud for our six top to all hear each other
Are you a veggie? Try the Portobella White Bean Burger.
Try the portobello and white bean burger. Yum.
The Farmhouse Soft Pretzel is SO GOOD!!
For dessert: get the Vanilla IPA shake. A+++
wednesday nights are the money shot here folks. trust me.
Make sure you have a glass of the Delerium Tremens. Very smooth Belgium Pale Ale.
Onion rings are seriously the bomb! And so is bartender Jeff Baker!
Worth the wait. Blue cheese and honey toast, turkey or bee burgers (with the garlic aoli) mussels, and the Pumpkin cupcake with maple buttercream frosting & salted caramel. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!!!
I love the oysters here but the prepared sauce is usually too overpowering. If you're a purist be sure to ask for some lemon.
The food is different, delish great for someone looking to expand their pallet. Beers are awesome too!
Homemade root beer on tap. Delicious.
Try the Petras on tap. It's a sour beer, quite tasty.
Go now! Amazing. Perfectly cooked burger, house-made condiments (yes!), and half pours on craft beer. Service wins a gold star.
Beer list is.... Soso
Everyone talks about the Hill Farmstead Edward, but the Susan is better. If you're really lucky, they'll have the Abner, the best it gets.
The home made root beer is yummy.
The staff here is above and beyond. The food adds to it but the service and warmth are my favorites
Ok so here's what you do-look at the board above the bar and pick something to drink, you will likely enjoy anything. Do it again. Next up grass fed burger, bacon, and VT cheese, sub bun-kale for GF!
Make sure you try some Hill Farmstead!
The burgers are to die for!!! But everything I've had is awesome! Especially the KIMCHI!!
Best burgers. A little noisy but a great place nonetheless!
The basement is a hidden treasure. I love the beer garden in the warm months. You order your drinks at an old drive thru window. So great
Burger started to go downhill when they made the patties thick but small. First bite is now mostly bun. Was great when they first opened.
If it's on tap, try the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout.
No mixed drinks, but great line up of beers. Long waittttttttttttttttttttt
Do not miss the chocolate porter shake for dessert!
Slow service :(
If you like to wait an hour for a table and an hour for food with terrible service and so so food you've come to the right place
Make sure you spend some time downstairs in the beer lounge.
Top notch customer service. Unbelievable tap list and bottle list. Best burgers you'll ever have.
Trendy hipster gastropub. Good for overspending and smelling other people's breath while they talk about beer like it is high art. Pretentious doesn't begin to cover it. Fun place!
Order a whole pint of your favorite beer, or try a half-pint of something new. In the summertime, patrons can sit at the picnic tables or on couches that line the outdoor patio. - © 2013 BuzzFeed, Inc
Get the pulled pork platter when it is on the menu (usually a summer item)!
Changing table in ladies room. They also have short straws and cups with lids for the kids. Perfect!
GF threw up twice last night from eating one bratwurst, still queasy this morning. My burger was awesome as usual though.
Veggie burger was tasty. Nice selection of spirits
Sit outside if the weather's nice. The food's good across the board, and the beer selection is extensive and you can get half pints of the ones on tap to sample lots.
Draft beer list is awesome.
