Kind of an under-the-radar pick, but the burger here is one of the best I've had in NYC. Also, if you don't order the Scotch Egg I'm going to come down and punch you in the face. It's delicious.

The Fat Radish's richer cuisine demands wines w/ good acidity. For a lighter-bodied red, opt for the gamay ('09 was an excellent vintage) or the rare torrette. And for an aperitivo: a sherry!
