People tend to check in during these times:
Free apples, free posters, awesome shows. Hard to find a bad view. Check out the posters upstairs and stop by the bar while you're up there!
Best music venue in SF! Be sure to check out the poster collection upstairs.
The best venue in San Francisco? Also don't forget to grab an apple -- they are always free and usually stupendous. Don't know where they get them.
If you want your souvenir poster, you'll have to wait until the very end of the show. It's worth it, as they're often beautifully designed.
order a large beer
Cool atmosphere! Fun concert venue.
So historic. So cool.
Historic music venue. All shows are good because it's the FILLMORE! Catch a drink in the Poster room upstairs.
Nice venue. Really good poster room.
Bad bathroom for pooping. Make sure to do your business before you leave for the show.
the music...patti smith!
I love the Willie Nelson painting/sculpture over the fireplace, complete with a string of red xmas lights instead of fire!
Take your time, breathe it in. Cooler people than you have spent time here. Your ego is worthless.
Get as close to the stage as possible or you'll have some trouble seeing the band
The poster room has a great vantage point & is a fun place to hang out during opening bands that you're not that into.
Free apples and poster after the show \o/
Stay for the music and leave with a free poster.
Most legendary music venue in SF. Great sound, not overly crowded even when sold out. Go early and check out the posters from all of the shows over the years in the bar room upstairs.
Check the poster room for some historic names.
I love the chandeliers, the history, even the sticky floors help add atmosphere. Fun place to see shows.
At the Fillmore to see Lake Street Dive, who were on stage this past weekend at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass!!!
Now there are tables around the floor?! Get there early and enjoy a pre-show cocktail
Awesome old school venue. Beers are way too expensive though.
Cool indie music!
An easier path to the front? Head to the right on the opposite side from the bar.
One of the greatest venues in San Francisco. A must if you're visiting. See the giant poster room, grab a free apple, and grab a poster on the way out if the show sells out. Always a treat.
Don't bring your pocket knife or reusable water bottle. They won't let you in with the knife and your water bottle has to wait out front. #Lame
The apples are delicious! Also love their tradition of handing out posters after the show.
One of my favorite music venues! Access to huge, delicious, red apples is a definite plus 😋🍎
Amazing space and fun atmosphere. Easy to get to the front of the stage!
Beers are $9, while 12 packs of PBR at any store are $12. Ridiculous
Awesome AC system!
Drop @ Geary & Fillmore
Big Head Todd
Try to score a poster on the way out w/ some of the best art in music ;^}
The jerk roaming around the entrance near the box office will do everything possible to antagonize and ruin your night before you even get inside. Total disgrace to such a historic music venue.
Stars with California Wives, and Diamond RIngs
ladies: bring an extra hair tie - if your show's sold out, you can use it to get that free poster home safe! fellas: i dunno... make sure you grab an apple or something.
Free apples + free poster = best venue in SF.
The staff here are lovely and know their history. Much love
Shop at Safeway and leave obvious Safeway bags in your car so it doesn't get towed.
This place is the stuff of rock legend in SF. Take the time to enjoy the hundreds of concert lithographs on the wall.
Don’t leave without checking out the upstairs Poster Room—with psychedelic vintage poster art—and without grabbing a free apple.
See your favorite musical act here.
