People tend to check in during these times:
Nacchooos. Probably the best nachos I have ever had. Nice and filling with great toppings and pretty dang cheap. Split a large with guacamole with 4 guys and we got decently filled for 5 bucks each.
Spicy peanut is amazing! If you like thai curry try Final option. If you like indian curry, get Tropic option. Downside: expect to be screaming at your friends because the music is way too loud.
Great music (hip hop and rap from the 90s) great vegan food and great price ($12 for a large meal). Overall id say this is a pretty decent place to chill with your friends.
A restaurant that has a sign saying "come for the cheese, stay for the vibe" and blasts old school hip/hop from its speakers can't be anything but awesome. The nachos are heaven.
Try the nachos. You won't be disappointed. There aren't many places in Vancouver where you can feed a family of four, along with a couple of beers, for about $20!
Cheap all-vegetarian restaurant with great food. The nachos are divine & if you are not sure what to try, order the 'Katered Affair'. Warning, service is abysmal.
The most amazing veggie food! They are known for their Nachos! But try the Maple Bean Chilli! It's fucking rad!!!
Brought my vegetarian friend here from out of town. Unique decor made experience even better! Left a good impression of Vancouver, city of eats! ♥
Decent food but service is extremely minimal, it takes a while for them to finally come back around to take your order let alone any other requests
The East Side is just fabulous if you like sweet appetizers. Can't believe this is a vegetarian place! Soo good...
The nachos are amazing. Also the OPPP and spicy peanut dishes are yummy if you like peanut-y food.
Favorite restaurant in town. Can't go wrong with the nachos or the spicy p'nut. The BLT is mind-blowing too.
You have to question a food establishment that allows a server to wear a t-shirt and just underwear during service.
Bring an appreciation for veggies, tattoos, hip hop and ironic mustaches and you will fit in perfectly.
I also forgot to mention the Katered Affair is freaking amazing for $12! An can feed a good 4 ppl
I don't recommend the molton tofu. The food doesn't seem like restaurant food but more like the food you get when you visit your hippie friend circa 1990.
Loud and great hip-hop music, amazing vegan options and decent prices. I'm sold!
Sesamum salad and Sesame society are my favourites. They are known for their nachos too.
Vegetarian eats for lunch set in a mish-mash of vintage decor. Go for the Hummus
Feeling poor? Got Friends? Nacho time at the Foundation, I think 5 of us split it last time... like 5 dollars each with a tip :)
Best known for its hip hop playlists and vegetarian nachos; and deservedly so.
Go for Sesamum Salad! AMAZING! music does not go with the eatery theme though...
Satay salad is hands down best warm salad. Come with friends and try the nachos.
You won't find a bigger plate of nachos anywhere else in Vancouver.
Awesome nachos... But you need to be starved if you want to finish your plate.
Great hummous. Great spinach salad called tight spin. Service slow, very slow.
Food is so inconsistent. Sometimes great. Sometimes disgusting. At least it's cheap.
One of the few places you can get beer by Storm Brewing. $5 isn't a bad price either.
Try the nachos and the sugar pie!!! Best nachos in van city!!
Foundation is hit or miss. But the nachos are good enough to overlook the often shitty service
Excellent veggie maple bean chili with cheese on top.
Only get the nachos. Nothing else. Ok, maybe some other stuff - I only come for the nachos.
Good vegan options. Mingling yams are delicious!
THEIR NACHOS ARE THE GREATEST THING SINCE FREE WIFI.
had the Mango Forte last time, and I'm coming back for it today (:
Was at the Foundation and had the nachos they are the best around!
p'nut burger, tight spin salad..nachos for dinner! seriously the best comfort food in van
You can not get Nachos till after 4pm. Try the BLT-ish
I'm not fond of their pasta, but nachos are to die for.
Great vegetarian food! Have the musher yams for appie. @kleingroup kleingroup.com
The hummus is not authentic but the twist they added is a success.
The Maple bean chile is amazing!!!!
The Platter : a Katered affair and the Nachos
The hummus plate makes a very filling lunch!
Forget why you're here? The nachos and drink specials.
Food is amazing, but don't expect any semblance of service.
Awful nasty servers, but the food is delicious.
Don't come here with large parties. The waitress is a bitch.
the katered affair platter is delicious!
