Early 1900's ice cream saloon and soda fountain in the heart of historic Old City Philadelphia.
Замечательная еда! Мне ужасно понравилась!!!!
Get the mt. Vesuvius!!!!
Definitely choose the Peanut Butter flavor.
The long lines are worth it.
I had a Banana Split and my friend the Mt. Vesuvious. A real feast of ice cream and it really is great. Would definitely go back and would recommend it as a must to any friends going to Philly.
One of the best ice cream in town
The whipped cream is homemade. Do you need to know anything else?
The coolest ice cream shop everrrr.
Best Ice Cream I ever had in the U.S. Staff and Location reminded me how ice cream parlors may have looked in the 60s. The pic shows the Dr. Doveys Classic Banana Split
Old fashioned ice cream in a vintage building. The root beer floats are gigantic. A medium gets you 2 flavors. The chocolate peanut butter milkshake was excellent.
Everything is great here. It's all made from scratch on site.
Güzelama özel değil yeşil çaylısı iyiydi
Rum Raisin rocks!
Amazing. They know each flavor inside and out, and every one is spot on and natural. A delicious throwback. Can't miss.
Best. Caramel. Sauce. Ever. On top of pumpkin ice cream... bomb.
Dizem que é o melhor sorvete da Philadelphia. Veremos!
The nicest soda jerks around. Have the Mt. Vesuvius!
Root beer float and the hydroxy
Get the Vegan flavor of the day.
cute cups, nice service, amazing list of dessert options!!! but expect a long wait 😪
Peanut butter flavor FTW 🍯❤️!!
Mt. Vesuvius for 2 will hit the spot!
The ice cream here is worth waiting for. Try the black raspberry, butter pecan and maple walnut. Three of my Franklin favorites.
Flat out amazing.
So many choices! Very yummy, and the "soda jerks" seem to love their jobs!
Their sundae selection is great. Can't go wrong
Great ice cream! Try the tea berry ! ❤️
Always try the special flavor of the day! They'll make it as a milkshake for you and it's even better.
Try honeycomb ice cream made with local honey it isn't too sweet but is totally a treat
two words. Mt. Vesuvius.
Reminds me of the 50's. Great ice cream!
Nothing bad here.
A lot of old fashioned charm, but not enough to justify the expense. They seem to great sundaes but they charge the price of an entree for them.
Good but had better
Everything is just spot on. We loved the Homemade Hot Fudge & Stock Market Crunch Sundaes but we wanted all of the floats.
Hands down butter pecan is the best flavored here; and best butter pecan I've ever tasted
No air conditioning and lines can be 30 minutes long. Decent ice cream, cool concept, but mostly for tourists.
Only go here if you want to wait in line for 45 min & overpay for ice cream that's only marginally better than Friendly's/store bought Eddy's
Best pistachio ice cream I've ever had
The ice cream sucks. I got a Franklin Mint to go and I spent 10 minutes trying to get through the topping with a rubber spoon.
This place is awesome it's 50's retro and when I went at about 11:30 at night it was so busy. Get the hydrox cookie (cookies & cream.) The best <3
Overrated and expensive ice-cream. Tastes like Ben&Jerrys. (Have not tried the floats and sodas yet)
So good it's worth tolerating the douchebaggery in the line
If you love chocolate and peanut butter, I recommend going with someone and sharing two of the sundaes: the Mount Vesuvius and Stock Market Crunch. You will not regret it!
Way too expensive. $7.50 for a small waffle cone. Outrageous. Lived the atmosphere so I splurged anyway!
