The Fresh Grocer is an accomplished independent supermarket chain specializing in providing high quality perishables in urban and suburban environments with eight stores operating in the (PA, NJ, DE) Tri-State area.
Disregard the earlier tips complaining about the prices, which have gone from worst to best since the chain joined ShopRite. Great selection. You should be buying produce at the RTM anyway.
Everything is pretty decently priced. They have everything from makeup to candles to hangers. Literally everything. Open 24/7
I was there two days ago and they NEED more people in the DELI. They have very heavy traffic because of Temple University's campus. 20 people in line 3 people working: SUCKS!
Best hoagies in the city!
Top the nite off with a HOAGIE and BREW!
Vegetables are very close to expiring, check packaged veggies when you bring them home, my gf's peppers were rotten on the inside of the bag. Good for meat and bread, not much else.
Get the 2 ft @ 10.99 rather than 2 reg. hoagies@ 7.49! :)
Some of the worker are very rude
The worst prices. The worst service. The worst grocery store. Period.
Would rather give myself a barehanded hysterectomy than shop here.
The most GHETTO establishment that I've even been in. They are extremely over priced, and they stinkin cashier didn't even bother to help bag a single item! I'd rather starve!
If you can manage to barricade the doors being trapped in fresh grocer during a zombie invasion could be pretty nice...lots of food...problem is there's not really anywhere to sleep....
Was literally yelled at by a cashier when I asked if I could swipe my credit card yet. Horrendous service.
Be careful, ppl often leave meats in bin at end of aisle which goes back on shelf. I've always mentioned this to mgmt
The driver is never there! If you were trying to get a ride cuz you paid $50 your outta luck
If you're patient and nice it pays off
I love the Cakes and pastries
Not all the workers are bad. Just bad management.
Not sure what was worse the fish or the service.
Smell bad fish&meat soon as you walk in the door.
Don't pass the fresh breads.
If you get a steak get bri to make it that shit was gooood
Long lines, and cashiers can be really rude , they also expect you to bag your own food, what grocery store does that?
Park on the roof to avoid jam ups outside of the market. Plus, you can take your cart to the car on the roof. Always a plus if you have small children.
Clutch Hoagies !!
Good fruits and veggie section!
Avoid going at rush hour, and stick to the self check-out lanes, they always move faster. And always check your fruit ie- grapes, for mold. Ew!
very nice store but the cashiers have attitudes and are grouchy
Its all ways packed in this market omg
The broccoli soup is the best!! They serve every Wednesday!!!
Make sure you check the expiration date on the milk.
Worked there for a year and half, take advantage of the Coffee Bar register with 10 items or less.
Super expensive, long lines, slow cashiers, and they expect you to bag wwith these high prices
Overpriced and crowded..
I would take advantage of the free shuttle b4 8pm when u spend over $50 (if u live within a 2 mile radius)
Never get out of line if someone tells you a line is shorter. It never ever is.
Well lit & clean
Pickup some sales when you can here.
Grab a hood cereal, like Waffle Crisp, or an X-Brand like Terry The Lion Sugar Flakes.
A terrible, horrible, no good, very bad supermarket.
City grocery store. Not always fresh but convenient and large selection. Not a lot of deals here either.
im here for red box
Grab some mixed-up salt!
This is probably a good place to get your food.
