Great food. We loved the pancakes and Popeye veggie omelette. All the staff was fun, upbeat, and super friendly. Expect a long line to get a table in this tiny place with a view.

Skip the line and order take out. It took just 7 minutes to get our food and breakfast on the beach was superb. Fresh pineapple, fried rice and the veggie omelet. Yum!

If you are near by its a must try! Their food and portions are great! If you don't want to wait an hour in line order to go! You should dine in for your first time the views are great!

Heard a lot about this place ans refused to leave maui without trying it. Choc macad nut pancakes are pretty amazing. Whipped cream is homemade and its def worth the wait. The friend rice is a bit sal

walk right past the enormous line and in through the exit. ask a waitress if you can order to go. grab a table at the pool and you'll be eating in 15min vs. an hour plus wait in line.
    Bryce Roberts · April 17, 2014

Lines can get long. look up menu on Yelp and call in order. Pick up 10min later while you sit by the poolside tables watching everyone wait in line that could sometimes take about an hour.
    Ras Tanksta · November 9, 2014

Went here for breakfast on our last day. There was a line, and poor crowd control (they should hand out buzzers to people so they can go relax in the pool area while waiting)... but food was great!

The fried rice, combo pancakes, and shrimp melt are all my favorites! We go out of our way every time we are in Maui to eat here. Gorgeous views, great service, and delicious food.
    xtinadiener · September 13, 2013

Take out is the best, if not the only option here. Why waste an hour of your Maui vacation standing in line? That said, food here is acceptable, it's essentially diner food with a Hawaiian slant.
    Dan Steinberg · December 5, 2013
  • Myrla R.
White choc mac pancakes r just regular pancakes with chocolate n mac nut thrown on top.. fried rice plate is soooo salty its like eating salt.omelette is decentmmCome here for the view NOT for food!

Avoid the line (about 1 hour wait) by walking in and ordering takeout with the cashier. Sit on the outside tables facing ocean and they will bring a huge brown bag with goodies to you.
    Damian Davila · November 24, 2012
  • Elizabeth L.
Order a full fried rice plate and you can save half for lunch or a late night snack. There's a line in the morning, but it's worth the wait. Nit a bad view in the joint!
    Elizabeth Lee · October 12, 2011
  • Nathan W.
The banana macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup are amazing. Big kahuna omelet is great. Full order of fried rice is a mountain, big enough for 4. Cheers!

Fried rice TASTY. Bell peppers, onions, fried ham, bacon, topped w an egg. Half order enough for 2 ppl. Macadamia nut banana pancakes with coconut syrup is incredible, too!
    Amanda Gatlin · October 31, 2010

Amazing ppl eating in open-air spot on the beach, & still complaining. Great food, super-nice staff, great food, ridiculous view. You should go...and you will return.

Don't listen to naysayers. You aren't going to get gourmet, but what do you expect for a 20sf kitchen in a glorified shack? SW chicken salad was HUGE and tasty. Kalua pork plate good, too.
    Leigh Perretta · April 14, 2011
  • Mike 💣
Great breakfast and amazing views. Just make sure to get there early as the line forms at 7am, probably 50 people deep for only 30-40 capacity.

Monte Cristo is to die for. Long lines and waits at times, but well worth it. They have umbrellas for you if it starts to rain while you're in line.
    Mark Love · November 22, 2011

Our party of 4 had a 45-60min wait, but food, view and service is great. Watch out for not angry birds who want a bite of your breakfast too.
    Brett Murio · August 12, 2015

Had the fried rice- half order was huge and hardly made a debt in it. Tasted hubby's mac nut & white chocolate pancakes with lanai sauce - heaven on a plate!

Skip the crazy line, order take out and sit on the beach 500 yards from the tables. Plenty of beach sitting, no wait

OMG this is a must! Banana Mac Nut Pancakes are the BOMB! I had the veggie eggs benedict very good. Kids love the Pog drink!

There is ALWAYS a wait, but it is worth it. If you are at the top of the stairs, prepare for at least an hour long wait.

A decent breakfast spot, but the designation as "best of Maui" needs to be considered in the proper context. The next runner up was...IHOP.
    Christian · September 5, 2010

This place makes the most delicious pancakes and incredible fried rice! You have to try The Gazebo when in Maui! BTW- the view is spectacular!
    Tori Sodek · April 25, 2010

I don't know why people waste time standing in long lines. You can just order take out at 8 sit outdoor watching the ocean. Could not ask for a better view. #productiveislandtime.

Split the food family style, so you can maximize tasting their food. White Choc Mac Nut Pancakes & Fried rice are the two best.

Get the pancake combo or the fried rice breakfast. Both are great. Fried rice can easily feed two people or more

The wait is no joke but if you're party of 2, they will often fill you with smaller tables for a shorter wait

If there's a long line (usually the case), walk up the beach to Sea Horse. Gazebo is not worth the wait

The line is really long to wait for a table. If it's nice out, just get takeout and eat your breakfast out in the open on the beach.

Instead of cream and sugar in your coffee, put a heaping spoonful of their whipped cream in it.
