You must try the Fried Chicken Sandwich
Burger and fries were solid, however when I asked to sample a beer on tap they said they were too rare and expensive, this is after I had tossed down nearly $50 for lunch for two people.
Horrible service. I ordered my meal to go so I could eat half and save the rest for later. They told me I was not allowed to eat at the restaurant. Stupid rule and poor management.
The chips! So good.
solid bacon cheeseburger. +1 for having Scoops ice cream.
Come for the burgers and beer....stay for the gelato.
The burgers are great
Got The Burger (medium rare) with the sweet potato fries. The patty was just as delicious as Umami and the thick fries mad this meal an absolute delight.
Although, I always go for the side of fries (either regular or sweet potato), the cucumber salad is a GREAT substitute. Healthy, too.
Simple, American food done to perfection. Imagine if In N Out decided to create their own upscale $6 burger joint. This is a close match.
The Burger, plus caramelized onions, is perfection. Multi-napkin juicy and delicious, without making you feel like your ate a brick. Get the jalapeno coke slaw too. Light and crunchy.
Sure, the curry ketchup is amazing, but don't forget about the four different types of mustard!! Four!!
Very accomodating people here, "great" customer service. Be sure to leave a tip in the red jar by the register. There's a counter to the right of the register for silverware, napkins, sauces & water.
The Burger, Fries & Belgian or whatever good beer rotating on their list (check their chalkboard on the wall or ask)👍
delicious and simple burger. arguably the best in LA. mint infused lemonade is soooo good too.
Their burger has become a classic in a very short time. Pair with a Racer 5.
Curry ketchup on everything. Absolutely.
Fantastic burger. No crazy gimmicks just great ingredients cooked well. Good atmosphere and friendly low-key service. They also serve Scoops ice cream.
Delicious Burger! Best in LA!
One of the best burgers in LA
Hmmm, not bad
One of the best burgers I've had anywhere. Sweet potato fries are also amazing. Garlic aioli is clutch!
No changing tables :(
Good Luck finding a parking spot. Worth the trouble tho
A fantastic burger! Get it medium, cause that's like a medium rare everywhere else.
We just found out about this place and OMG this place is amazing! You need to take an order and sit down after you will get a number. The employees where very nice the service was very good...
They curate 12 taps with a keen eye for balance, as well as carry Scoops ice cream in vanilla that factors into a now notorious beef float that helped to launch the beer float trend in L.A.
the burger and french fries are excellent
This is a wonderful and no nonsense burger joint with a remarkable and constantly rotating craft beer selection. Some of the best stouts in la can be found in this humble white structure...
Turkey burger was great. Sweet potatoes fries were nice and thick but inconsistent (some burned, some still cold). Slaw was kinda dry.
Get the lamb burger, only available on Thursdays.
Skip ketchup on the burger and add spicy mustard. Sweet potato wedges are the best I've had. Caramel Oreo gelato? Bonkers. Also, try onion rings if available.
Burgers & beers. Solid on both accounts. Enjoy.
Great burgers here but don't just mindlessly add fries as side. The amazingly delicious Golden State Red Potato Salad perfectly complements any of the fine burgers on the menu. Try it next time.
Always eat the burger!!
Potato salad is amazing. Wish I got the burger over the fish and chips though.
This is definitely the best burger in LA at a non-ridiculous price point, but the craft beers really make golden state magical. Bonus points: scoops gelato!
Even the burger is made to celebrate the foods of Cali: California beef cooked to order, California cheese, topped with bacon and arugula. The burger itself is char-grilled and served on brioche.
Be prepared for street parking!
jalapeño cole slaw over everything!
Eat here all the time!
This place is the best burger I have had in my life. I am a straight dude and the crowd was a tick gay for my normal dining place but to be honest I would have married the guy who made the burgers!
Menu looks simple, but is brilliantly prepared. Big flavors. You have every right to be bummed out if you forgot to leave room for ice cream.
