Students at NYU (a 2011 Most Innovative Company) are drawn to this close-to-campus cafe, known for free Wi-Fi and good eats. Order a cup of the house blend and a chicken pesto sandwich.
"This coffee shop has mouth watering sandwiches, french fries so good you won't feel guilty after and a hot staff!" - Meredith, Setup Squad
Amazing breakfast spot for casual meetings. Ideal for fundraising or serious BD talks.
We love this tiny place for a delicious brunch – Get your fill with the Grey Dog’s Breakfast or be a bit healthier with the Homemade Granola. Expect to wait during the weekends.
One of my favorite places to hang out on a random night and read a book or chat with a friend. Their coffee is in my NYC top 7.
take your headphones out-the music here is probably what you're listening to anyway...if not better
Hipsters who actually provide good customer service. I'm impressed.
Really cool pulley contraption for getting plates up from the kitchen. Look for it!
Love the Bay Area vibe. Window nook seating = best seats in the house!
Grey Dog is the best place in the neighborhood to eat or grab coffee. Great food, cool staff, and they manage the tables well so half of them aren't filled with people working on their resumes.
This cute and quirky cafe has an extensive selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. Also good for brunch and, unlike most cafes, serves beer and wine.
#7 on nine grain. Mmm.
Add cinnamon to your coffee in place of cream and sugar— you won't regret it.
granola cookies are amazing. so are the seared tuna tacos... and everything else
#7 Granny Smith Sandwich; Carrot Ginger Soup; Heaven... Great Find!
Best brunch around! Try the French Toast with berries and breakfast potatoes/hash browns.
Eating alone? No problem. Ask the barista to borrow a complimentary book from their stocked library of NY Times Best Sellers.
have a Michigan sandwich.
Mulled wine is great here
Surprisingly good burger. Amazing fries with old bay on them. Everything is tasty, though. Also... staff is really friendly. A good hangout when its not overcrowded.
Love this place. Good food, fun but chill atmosphere. Raspberry lemonade has real raspberries in it!
this is the place for amazing, homemade pastries, if you're into that sorta thing.
The owner went to University of Michigan, and this place is based on the famous Zingerman's concept from Ann Arbor!
great vibe. even better when not super busy. cookies are epic.
Great post-workout lunch spot. The Grilled Chicken & Palm Salad is great.
Raspberry lemonade!! And double chocolate brownies :)
Can't recommend the Pulled Pork Wrap enough. $10's buys you a mountain of pork with homemade apple slaw, chips and pickles. Nom it.
Get the sweet potato fries. Just do it.
Great place for a meet up! Vegetarians: get the Country Style Salad with marinated tofu (sans onions). Huge portion and the tofu is cooked PERFECTLY- still hot with a cold salad. Delicious.
Grey dogs breakfast - always
eat a giant oatmeal raisin cookie.
Nice little cafe to grab a coffee and some breakfast
The sweet potato fries here are incredible. They're light, crisp and not at all greasy, but be careful stopping by during brunch or you'll have to wait a while for your sweet potato fix.
No wifi here which is nice. Bring a book and relax.
They have great Gluten Free muffins, enjoy!
chocolate chip cookie....really big so get one to share with a friend, or not :)
Loud and overpriced....so a coffee shop.
def try raspberry ice tea!
best spot for reading a book and grabbing a sandwich on a sunday afternoon.
Granny smith apple and brie sandwich, carrot ginger soup, and sweet potato fries... Unmatched!
Free refills on coffee
granola chocolate chip cookie, nuf sed
When it's available, get the pecan pie! Also good for brunch, lunch or just a glass of wine.
Another good spot for pre-#TBEX coffee but often crowded.
Wide selection of gluten free items, including sandwiches, scones and muffins. (And their sangria rocks, too.)
Country salad with grilled tasty marinated & grilled tofu and swapped for the Asian ginger dressing but they gave me both $11.50
Best time to come on the weekends is 9am. Strollers have largely cleared out and the NYU kids are still in bed.
Challah French toast with strawberries is heaven
Raspberry mustard sounds gross. But it goes great with their turkey sandwiches! Give it a try.
