Grab a table in the garden when it’s nice and try the BBQ Duck Sandwich (for lunch) or the Seared Sea Scallops and the Duroc Pork Chop for dinner.
Holy moley this place is good. Two plates per person is plenty -- cauliflower, duck and the hen were the favs.
The chef here is also the owner and it shows! The food and service is excellent.
Try the beets and cheese raviolis. Amazing.
Stand awkwardly in the pass
For a light lunch, try the Chopped Salad – it’s perfect. For a light dinner (or as a starter) the Noodle Salad is a must.
If bacon is on the menu, have it. Charlie makes his own in a smoker in the garden and its quite good.
Tasting menu was heavenly
Food was delicious and seasonal. Plates are small served family style.
Lamb stuffed cabbage is perfect on a cold rainy night
They had us at French Fry Salad! The Shell Peas & Sugar Snaps are also a CITY GRIT favorite!
As the name implies, this veggie-focused restaurant is a go-to for seasonal picks from roast game and winter squash to wildly popular signatures like french fry “salad” topped with wild mushrooms.
Really really good, but pricey. Wine is way high and what you think is an entree is just a little dish. Super good, but dear.
The staff is attentive, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is cozy! Make a reservation -- great place for an anniversary dinner or intimate date!
If this isn't a perfect restaurant I'm not sure what would qualify.
The small plates are not that small and each dish was tasteful
Best meal I've had in New York!!! Amazing wine list and a delicious seasonal menu. Risotto, snap pea salad, and mocha bread pudding are a must! Loved the complimentary samples. Sit in the garden!
Highly recommend the tasting menu, pretty awesome!
Everything was good, but very few dishes really stood out (with the exception of the sorbet palate cleanser). For the price, we expected more.
My favorite restaurant on Smith Street.
All sorts of yum! Everything was delish that it's worth the price. Unpretentious and FULL of vegetarian options- which makes them a winner amongst the farm to table movement. GET THE BEETS!
The best food I've had at NYC so far. This is a small place, and rated very highly so reservations are almost impossible to get. I got lucky as my cousin's friend cancelled hers.
One of the best meals I've had in NYC. I really like the people, too. I will return again and again.
Slow Rendered Duck Breast
More hot sauce.
Get a reservation, enjoy one of the better dinners you'll ever have.
Focus on desserts, this is the strong point of the restaurant! Go for appetizer and dessert or entree and dessert.
One of the best meals I've had in Brooklyn!
The best. Always.
Low-key, high-caliber. Gracious service and excellent food - perfect for your parents or a really good date.
Try the caramel cognac ice cream...but there's no cones in it.
Try the faro if it's on the menu.
Go and order a meal, but also one of Sharon's amazing deserts. Chosen as one of New York's (not just Brooklyn's) top ten restaurants a couple years ago by Zagats.
