If there's a long line, it's worth checking out their other cart on the opposite corner--sometimes that line is shorter! Beware of the imitators!

Not sure what the big deal is, it's cheap, plain, street meat that's handled in an obvious unhygienic way. Never again 😷

Everything is great. Well worth the line.

It's OK food. Nothing to write home about. OK shawarma, tasteless chicken, standard mayo based white sauce, unimaginatively ridiculously harsh hot sauce. Rice is the star! I count it as a demerit!

Founded by Mohammed Abouelenein in 1990 as a hot dog cart. In 1992 they changed the business to be as it's today. Overrated food thus!

Chicken and Rice (best drunk food!)

  • Terence C.

There's usually a shorter line on the 7th Ave and W 53rd St side. Chicken was dry and lacked flavor so stick to just lamb. Can't beat the value proposition here for $7. 4/5

Very delicious food and friendly service. I recommend the falafel.

Got the mixed rice twice in a week! So good! Be careful not to put too much hot sauce though, it's super spicy and this is coming from someone who can take spicy

Chicken and Lamb combo. Hot sauce is super hot, so taste it before you add too much. Don't skimp on white sauce!

  • Justas Z.

Cheap, good, filling. Watch out with the red sauce!

  • Darren M.

It's definitely worth the wait in line for this reasonably priced bowl of chicken and rice goodness! The ranch sauce to top it off perfects the dish.

If you do something well, here is the result. We have waited half an hour to taste and enjoyed a lot. Hot sauce is really hot, be careful and have the white sauce as much as possible.

I ordered gyro over rice and falafel sandwich at 4:30pm on a rainy day which means line was non existent. I got chicken over rice and gyro sandwich. They have only 3 proteins. You deduce my thoughts..
