    I love Hollywood, & I love bowls, so this is 1 of my favorite places to see a concert. Make sure to bring something to keep you warm, 'cause it gets cold! Portia brought a blanket. I brought tequila.

    Amazing outdoor concert experience. See pretty much any performer and have a great time. Arrive early and bring or order dinner before the show. One of the best things to do in LA.

    Amazing venue with unique amphitheatre view. Arrive 2hrs before the show, bring your own food, wine and cushion. You'll be thankful for all tips, trust me and enjoy!!

    The best outdoor venue in the area. Highly recommend. I also recommend taking a shuttle instead of parking at the venue. I took one from the LA Zoo. Bring your food and beverages too!

    Byo...just about anything: beer, wine, hard stuff, glass is fine (just about every night) double check with the super friendly box office. Also try to get first row seats: to get a makeshift table.

    Legendary venue for a reason other than its past artists. Beautiful. Con: I'm sure it's due for a fire code violation or 12. Holds 17k people with one exit, one shit show away from a stampede.

    Enjoy the music during a warm summer (aug) night over dinner/wine, it just might be the best way to take in a concert! ever. Tip: no outside glass allowed, so pack wine in a water bottle.

    LOVE going to anything here! You can bring food and picnic on the grounds. Some shows allow you to bring food into the bowl. Great date place! Recommend taking advantage of shuttles and subway!

    Iconic venue in the greater Los Angeles area. Make sure to arrive extra early for parking, walking, and navigating through the vicinity. I'd highly recommend seeing established acts and/festivals.

    Acoustics were great even sitting in the middle section. Consider padding for sitting. Great view of Hollywood sign from middle seats. Parking easier than expected.

    One of the best concert venues in the area, the historic Hollywood Bowl is a great venue throughout the summer and fall. Bring a picnic meal, park at one of the satellite locations & enjoy the music!

    People generally save on parking by parking at Hollywood & Highland & getting validation for 4 hrs from one of the businesses. The uphill walk is good for you-downhill after the show even better!

    Motorcycles/scooters - discnt pkng(currently $9) drive up the hill to Reserved parking and you'll be directed towards an area 100 ft from the entr. Drive on the RT curb ln on S Highland to get in qk!

    The plastic water bottles they sell in the gift shop can hold a bottle of wine. Get one if you're at a leased event that doesn't allow wine bottles to sneak in your beverage of choice.

    Such amazing shows, and you can bring your own picnic food! Never park there though, it's an absolute traffic nightmare. Park at Hollywood/Highland and walk 15 minutes to the bowl.

    The Rooftop Grill has Soju cocktails this season. A delightful alternative to vodka Soju is distilled from barley malt and is neutral in flavor. At 35% ETOH it is 70 proof.

    One of the few auditorium style concert venues that I enjoy. I saw 9 inch nails and Soundgarden here and had the best time. It goes without saying that the food and drinks are overpriced.

    they don't have events here that often that I go to see, but this is a historic landmark and the sound is always incredible. make sure you are per peer for an hour worth of traffic.

    If you like concerts and you like the outdoors, this is it. If you don't mind the walk, park at the Kodak center instead and take a stroll from there. And don't forget the picnic basket!

    Lovely way to spend a summer evening. Feel free to bring wine and a picnic basket. Save yourself from the venue's awful stacked parking though by taking a shuttle.

    Park at Hollywood & Highland and take the shuttle up the hill; much easier way to transport your munchies. I would advise just walking back down though. The wait for the bus on the way back is brutal.

    Quite possibly the best concert place to see a show. Under the stars with a beautiful surrounding. It's worth it to spring for closer seats, but every seat is good.

    Probably the best music venue in LA. The acoustics are unreal and there isn't a bad seat in the house. You can bring your own food and wine too!

    It isn't summer in LA without at least one concert here! Make sure though what the rules are on a given night on alchol, most nights you can bring in your own wine!

    I highly recommend taking a bus to the Bowl because it is so easy, so comfortable and the bus drops people off right by the Bowl.

    Just once during the show, walk all the way to the top to take it all in for a minute. And then go back to your seat and rock out.

    For leased events where alcohol is a no go: One of the Hollywood bowl sports bottles (which are allowed) can fit an entire bottle of wine. Or so I've been told...

    Use picnic area in parking lot across the street or the gated park just south of the bowl. Then you can drop your food back at your car before climbing the hill!

    Enjoy a show at this renowned venue. Afterwards, cruise over to the Hollywood Bowl Overlook at 7036 Mullhulland Dr. for some of the best views LA has to offer, preserved as a park for all to enjoy!

    Go up the side and around from the main entrance to another gate. Usually less crowded to get in. Exiting to the left of stage is usually faster.

    Don't drive here expecting to find parking right before the show starts. Plan ahead. I take the redline and walk up the hill. Other people take shuttles from remote lots.

    This place is a beautiful outdoor venue where you can see the Hollywood sign. Even with cheap backrow tickets, you still get a decent view. Might want to consider bus instead of bad parking out front

    Another option is to take the Metro red line to the Hollywood & Highland station. From there, either walk (less than a mile) or hop a bus. Cheap, and you'll get out faster. Stack parking sucks.

    Give yourself an extra 20 minutes if you're taking the shuttle from Studio City. The bus takes a strangely circuitous route to the Bowl.

    If your camera has a removable lense make sure you hide the camera deep inside your bag. Otherwise, they'll make you check it in with Operations. Annoying and kind of a hassle.
