Some of the best parties in Tucson are held here annually including Dillenger Days, NYE, The Underwear party, and Fall Crawl.
A great home base from which to explore Tucson. Well situated near the newly hopping downtown and the always delightful 4th Avenue.
cute rooms, a bit small but cozy. I can deal with the party all night noise level but for the love of god, install some power outlets that you don't have to pull the bed out to access pretty please!
History, fun and beer in this nice place, also good bars and coffee shops walking distance! No TV tho, but you don't need it!
Remember to ask for a light hand with the salt.
Braveheart for breakfast with a side of chimichurri.
Be sure to check out the dining area penny floor--recently repolished.
I've been coming here since the late '90's when I lived in Tucson and worked at ADEQ. The patio area is always great for brooding over a cup of joe (Cowboy Coffee), and having your dog at your side.
Make you go during a slow time and ask for a folklore review and tour of a few of the rooms from Matt, the Desk Clerk.
Amazing historic hotel in Downtown Tucson. There's five bars inside to choose from, The Cup Cafe and a great outdoor patio. Definitely one of my favorite places to go on Friday night.
Great atmosphere, but my fave place is cup cafe. Brunch?!!
This was THE WORST hotel I have EVER stayed at in my LIFE! They tell you that it is "historic" when you check in but you have no idea what you're in store for. LOUD. OLD. NO TECHNOLOGY. Grade: F

The Ghost Orchid is not to be missed, but if you can get the Violet, don't pass it up.
Bloody Mary bar on the weekends is not to be missed.
Great bartender in the lobby area! Watch out for Dillinger! ;)
Congratulations, you have found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Oddballs from all over the Southwest flock here, where little has changed since John Dillinger used it as his hideout.
Alas, they won't let you actually live on the patio.
Try a caipirinha. Best I've had. And very different.
Bloody Mary Sundays! Ask Neil for Super Spicy!
Joseph is super-server!
Get a slice of pie at the Cup.
Go visit Tiger during the day, he has worked there for 50 years and knows a lot about the history of the place.
I loved this Hotel and it has three bars in the area to choose from. Great Atmosphere . .80s night is nuts
