People tend to check in during these times:
Get a membership, because you have to come here multiple times to see everything - the gardens, the museum, the exhibitions....
Plan to spend the whole day there; so much variety. You'll want the time to soak up each garden and art collection..food and drink!
Avoid the Library for the moment if you have respect for art. Alex Israel's work is at once egotistical and an affront to art.
Viist The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens and view the great collection, garden, flowers in a free admission.
Gardens, history, people watching
Came here for the last 40 minutes of it being open and it was worth every penny. Brutally lovely.
Love it. Every time I go, it feels as if I'm there for the first time.
Beautiful art museum and gardens. You can't see it all in one day
LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Feels like you're being transported into a whole different country. Not super crowded I feel like it's almost a little hidden gem in LA.So excited to come back and explore more!
Garden terrace of the cafe is a beautiful place for lunch.
I was most impressed by the baroque-style (not era, per se) pieces in the Huntington Art Gallery. Even this gallery is too much for a day. I don't live close but am considering annual membership.

Beautiful! Took my mother who hates to pay for anything and said it was best $20 she ever spent! That is saying a lot! Suggest to go spring and fall. Summer was brutally hot so don't go then!
