Music is great but the people who party here are douche bags so watch out!
Just had a mouse run under our table while eating. B rating restaurant. They need to fix it ASAP.
Electric fireplace makes this a fun winter spot. Don't miss the upstairs bar, with a fab view of the main downstairs space.
Yes the rooms a tiny but still the atmosphere is so worth it! The bathrooms are clean and most people living here are friendly when you meet them in the corridor!
Great event spot. The roof has an amazing view.
Sweaty dancing in the dark -- super fun if you're looking for this kind of night! Dress to impress (the bouncers). The hotel itself is historic (titanic survivors came here), & don't miss Cafe Gitane.
Worst bar in nyc. Smells awful
Came in on red eye and they let us check in at 7 am and the subsequent power nap saved the day. Additionally, room was super cool and staff was really nice.
Best place to stay for travelers who want to deep dive living in real neighborhoods. Good clean quiet room. Free bicycles. Great price. Great feel very bohemian
Great dancing next to a fireplace. Great dj the night I was there too
Super cool hotel with so much historic energy and facts.
Love the music... Perfect fusion of old and new!!
You don't need to leave. Live there, eat at Gitane and go clubbing in the weekends. Fridays better than saturdays.
Big bang little buck.
Rooms date back to to the Titanic. Dance at the ballroom - it gets alil cray.
The bouncer is awesome! Give him a high five.
Go in pairs. Never in a group of dudes
You must like cozy spaces! Great place.
Try the Milano Green Vodka martini 🍸 and you'll be dancing on tables in no time
Enjoyed the ambiance, enjoyed the food
Known for the night life but also a fun, compact place to stay
I felt like I was staying at a hotel in a Wes Anderson film. Bizarre but in good ways.
Great cocktails in the ship bar.
Sounds like a good one.
Rooftop is small but a great time
Fuck this place and it's bougie ass bouncers
Pro tip: there are a few rooms in the mix situated on a diagonal wall which takes a chunk out of the foot end of the bed. If you get one of these ask to switch. You'll be able roll over a lot easier!
With plump bathrobes, smart storage space, and primo room service, The Jane makes cabin living feel as cushy as it can get. Affordably priced and right by the Highline, Hudson, and West Village.
If on a budget it is great. But phone reception is rubbish, although there is free wi-fi. Staff dressed like they work on Disney's Tower of Terror ride. Makes it fun.
Nice and comfortable hotel for the price except that is VERY loud. You can hear everything going on outside. The windows need to be soundproofed ASAP.
If you're in NYC on a budget, the Jane is for you. The rooms are tiny but clean and adequate. Shared bathrooms but they're actually nice. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful.
Good value in the heart of hipster town! If you want a quick fix breakfast, head down to Chelsea Market for some baked goodies and a cup of coffee.
Did you know that John Cameron Mitchell originated his play HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH here (pre-renovation)?!
Come for the view, stay for the ambience.
One of the best choices for budget/single traveller!
Real fireplace + real vintage + nice bar. Better for predrink before a meatpacking nightout
was fantastic when it was hard to get into-now crowded with banker-types (and the little girls who love them) who don't understand that the dj is being ironic. Every club must fade-sigh ...
Great spot for drinks
Unique Boutique Hotel. Reminicent of Pullman cars w/sleeping berths. Small but comfortable.
Saturday night's oldies and current music fusion DJ list will make you want to dance until your feet go numb!
Super packed. good DJ.
Functional and cleverly designed tiny tiny rooms. Staff on reception mostly miserable and unfriendly.
I'm so in love with this hotel! Great staff, nice cafe, cool var and cute rooms. They are very small but the setting is just perfect! And it's on Manhattan, I'll recommend this hotel to anyone I know!
Rooms are small but have free wifi... And hotel provides complimentary bicycle rentals!
This place is like Harvard on Drugs, ALWAYS.
You might mistake the comfy couches and grand fireplace for living room props until you see well-dressed guests dancing atop the coffee tables and armchairs
Security staff at downstairs bar are deuch bags! Much cheaper elsewhere.
Once the American Seaman's Institute, it later housed Titanic survivors during the inquisition. It is now a whimsical spot that harkens back to the days of passenger liners and seafaring voyages.
This place is very cool. Awesome menu in the downstairs cafe!
