The service is a little slow, I guess it's because the 15% tip is already included to your bill, but the view and the food was good. I had a delicious octopus salad and scallops.

Perfect to sit outside, have a drink, and enjoy the view on a nice day. Make reservations in advance for dinner inside and enjoy the live piano.

Though the food isn't necessarily exceptional considering the high price, it's fun to watch visiting boaters paddle by you while you munch on lunch dishes like herb-roasted filet mignon cob salad. Read more

So touristy uugh... But the canoe rental is real fun and can be relaxing, even if it is a workout to row!!! One hour for only $15, up to 4 ppl in the boat is great

Go for the fresh brewed hibiscus tea and crab cakes At least 2-hour waiting during weekends, either go to the outside bar (only tapas/drinks but still nice) or during weekdays to avoid the crowds.

The Benny at the Central Park Boathouse is great! It isn’t too heavy on the Hollandaise sauce, and has a well proportioned amount of spinach. Read more

On a sunny nice day, you would be waiting for a boat forever. If you want to just enjoy the view, grabbing a drink at bar is the way to go. Takeout food is reasonable

If you look out to the water, then look to the right, you'll see a nice big sunny rock. Have your lunch then go take a break on the rock. It's bliss.

Picked up a coffee and cranberry scone after they opened on a Sunday AM. Great scone. They could use sleeves for the cups though because the coffee is super hot & they only give one cup.

During summer time, try not to sit underneath an A/C unit. Otherwise, you'll get soaking wet when it starts leaking non-stop.

There is an area that has the view of the lake. Great lunch venue. Otherwise stay at the inner room to grab a drink from the long walk.

Food and service was pretty meh, but the view and environment was spot on. Perfect brunch spot as long as you're not expecting the best food at that price.

A must if you're in central park, all year long. Beautiful inside with a wonderful pianist - in cold months try to snag one of the big leather armchairs near him.

Go for a gondola ride 212.517.2233. Ask for Andres. Join the frequent floater club. Best secret in the City. Even die hard New Yorkers who have seen and done everything will be delighted.

Nice view.Bad coctails, bad service at the bar. Be prepared to wait for 45mins and see the people who came after you get a table before you. Food is good but not amazing. This place is overrated.
