The best stores to Shop
Lots of shopping choice
Fantastic street in the centre of Chicago. Very nice shops
Great place for shopping and sites.
Perfect shopping fix combined with a stroll through the seasonal meticulously maintained flora & fauna lining Michigan Ave, enhanced by changing public art and street performers. A great day out.
The finest shopping in the Midwest is right here. Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's anchor the ends with Saks and Neiman Marcus in the middle. Happy Shopping!
A shoppers paradise!!
If you're a tourist: DO NOT stop abrupt in front of the stores to take photos of the building. People are actually trying to shop.
Some of the best shopping around. Start at Rush, walk down Oak then on to Michigan Ave for a mix of high end boutiques, department stores and trendy lower end shops.
Nice to walk around!
The shopping, restaurants and the site seeing.
Good shopping if you can afford it
Many of Chicago's landmark buildings are along this stretch.
Stop shopping. Go workout. Save money n look good in a space suit. Just saying. Yours truly. Unemployed astronaut.
The Mag Mile ... aka. the tourist hot spot. From shopping to people watching. #MagMile on instagram @Jai_Myers
Shoppers love it for the stores; tourists, because it is beautiful, convenient, clean, and safe. I love it as an architecture walk. Start south of the river on East Wacker and enter via the bridge.
Take a nice walk before sunset by the river, great photo opp.
Stop on the corner of Michigan & Ontario in front of Grand Lux Cafe to watch the street performers, which are usually dancers/singers spray painted head to toe in gold or silver. Don't forget to tip!
Wear sneakers when you walk up and down Michigan avenue. There's lots to see and you want to make sure you see it all before your feet get tired.
Park your car and walk. Seriously, if you're in a car, this place is frustrating. Get out and walk for a bit.
Pretty darn magnificent IMO
Good walking shoes are a must
Traffic not bad today, even with the weather being so nice!!!
Avoid on Fridays during rush hour.
North Michigan Ave from the river to Oak St is the city's most prestigious thoroughfare, lined with over 450 shops selling all things luxurious. – Green Guide Editor
The Magnificent mile... created in memory of the first time Steinberg "crushed-it"...
Avoid this place like the plague way too many tourist.
When crossing the street, please mind the light. Pedestrians need to pay attention to the DON'T WALK sign so they don't create congestion and traffic delays.
Check out the second annual Magnificent Mile Festival for incredible shopping specials, live concerts and more starting August 24th!
Great shopping area, everything is lovely and you can find most of the major brands in a small area.
A must walk! Shopping, shopping, shopping. Lot's of people on the street locals and tourists coming and going.

Great shopping at Water Tower Place :)
What’s on the Magnificent Mile? Everything from top tier dining and shopping to world-class museums.
Take a photo facing north when you see the Water Tower. Always a nice shot.

Historic street in Chicago! Be sure to snap a picture of Ms. Monroe in front of the NBC Building.
Beware of the suburbanites and stroller brigade!!
Getting a cupcake from street truck. More - cupcakes. Ummm
Beautiful lights at Christmas time. Go at night when there are fewer tourists!
Tourist ass street
