Probably the most timeless atrium in the city. A great place for people watching and hilarity. Stick to champagne, the whiskey is overpriced.

view from the 1st balcony box seat isn't terrible but you do miss some of the action in the back and left of the stage. (eg we could not see odette dramatically leap into the lake)

Beautiful and elegant, great acoustics. All seats are quite close to the stage, but you might want to avoid the side sections and boxes if you like seeing the full stage.

Always been disappointed by Operas I've seen here. What is supposed to be world-class ends up looking stale and dated. With the exception of the production of The Magic Flute, you can skip this place.

FANTASTIC PLACE TO HEAR BEAUTIFUL SOUNDS! The drinks and food are very over priced. Don't get the smoked salmon sandwich. The desserts are a safer more delicious option.
