Rockefeller oysters are surprisingly good. I found a pearl in one!!
Ask for a window seat.
The scallops au gratin. Yes yes yes. Pair it with a sauv blanc.
Great grilled chicken sammich....😀🍻👍
Grab a cocktail and an adirondack chair under a palm tree 🌴☺️.
One of the best places to go and see the sunset on Captiva Island.
Perfect for a drink and a sunset and the appys & entrees are all excellent as well.
I love their rum punch
Great spot to watch the sunset.
Grab a cocktail and watch the sunset. But get there early. . Beachside seating goes fast.
Super good fish and chips!
Great restaurant. Delicious food. Outside seating before dinner on the beach. Dinner inside then back out for the beautiful sunset.
Sit outside and order at the indoor bar to avoid waiting — plus the sunset views actually seem better because the windows from inside are blocked by the umbrellas. Bar menu is pretty yummy!
Cool & trendy sunset place. Tough to park just before sunset. Get there early and have a few drinks. If you walk on the beach to watch the sunset, make sure you're not blocking someone behind you
If you arrive between 3-5 pm there's no food and the hostess is unfriendly. Thumbs down
Get the table by the front window for spectacular sunset views!
The best sunsets on captiva island! Ask for Lindsay, she's the best!
Great place to come to just hang or have a nice meal. Great location right on the beach.
Overpriced and the duck was way over cooked. $100 for 2 entrees an app and 1 dessert. The fish spread and creme brulee were very good though.
Smoked fish dip
The Captiva sandwich was amazing !!
Amazing sunset view
We had fish and chips and the half duck. Both were super yummy, the duck was a large portion! For dessert mango cheesecake! Totally rocked!
The captiva sandwich is awesome! And the hostess with dark hair is super sweet!
Perfect location and great grouper.
The food is good, but avoid the Key Lime pie because it's frozen!
The ribeye was delicious and cooked to perfection (medium). Comments about it not being a proper pub because it serves just beer and wine should be embarrassed and clearly untraveled..
Best location to eat with great views. Food and menu is decent. Nothing to write home about. We find the staff is always very friendly. Expect $18-$25 per plate.
Kelly is a great waitress! Everyone here has been very nice!
Full of UK paraphernalia and great for sunsets but food always leaves me a bit dissapointed.
Bajecna restaurace s bajecnymi jidly a skvelym barem s vecernimi beach party ... V listopadu 2012 jsme sem zavitali a pod vlivem atmosky tu dhned koupili dum ....:)
I have no idea what wine based vodka is, but if you ask the barman outside he may get tetchy. Probably because he's been asked a billion times. Wouldn't hurt him to try it then would it really...?
Not bad but not what it once was. No Avalon shrimp and the chowder is different.
Jai Alai is the recommended “local“ IPA — brewed in Tampa. Foodwise I recommend their Grouper.
Not impressed with the key lime pie. It was frozen and tasteless
Do not order a margarita and expect tequila. It's a wine base. No liquor license. Also do not order any fish boiled in the island's water. Terrible taste. Great place to watch the sunset though.
Wow what a racist bouncer. He would not let us park to eat lunch and drink wine. My Indian husband thought he was discriminated against. We took our wine and food money to the resort bar at South Seas.
this is the best spot in Captiva in the late afternoon. come early enough to snag a picnic table on the beach and enjoy the drinks, raw bar, live music and picturesque sunset.
Only serve beer and wine. NO LIQUOR!!!
Do yourself a favor and come at sunset and sit outside. Buy drinks at the outside bar. Place your food order at the inside bar and wait for your name to be called on the intercom. No waiters outside.
Phyllis is a phenomenal server and the crunchy grouper is delicious.
Grilled grouper is so fresh
Try the crunchy grouper sandwich..
One of my favorite lunch spots on the SWFL Islands...
The duck fingers are really good!
Park at McCarthy's Marina at the other end of Andy Rosse Ln. for $5 when lot is full. Bring EXACT change.
Play the ring-toss game while you wait- the competitions can get pretty heated!
To go food not allowed on beach, so just get it "to go" for home and discreetly walk towards your "house next door" if wait for table too long. Great place for sunsets. Bring blanket.
