People tend to check in during these times:
If you know what authentic Malaysian roti canai is supposed to taste like, you'll be uber disappointed with this over priced, frozen, not home made 'roti'. Tidak bagus, lah!!!
Spicy peanut noodle box is what makes my day :)
This place has a fun vibe AND great menu.
Head downtown and eat some Box! :D
Typical westernized South-east Asian food. The extra chili is really good, decently hot. Tax is included in the price is a plus.
Disappointing. Definitely not Thai or Malaysian.
The wings are damn good, not as good as Phnom Penh wings, but definitely on point.
Order by phone and pick up take-out! so convenient.
If you have time to eat-in do it - the amount you can't eat almost fills a whole box. :-)
Good food but skip it if you're in a hurry.
Hot means HOT!!!
If you're looking for authentic Thai go elsewhere. But I find the noodle dishes here to be great nonetheless.
I asked for medium hot and my food was so hot, I couldn't taste it. My husband had a problem with his order, but the counter service didn't seem to care. We won't be back.
Not bad flavours - got the garlic black bean - but it was overall a bit sauce-heavy. There was 1/2 cm of sauce left in the bottom of the bowl - overpowered everything else.
It's true. They took Chili Plum off the menu. I'll be back when they bring it back.
Tip 1 - go somewhere else for lunch. Tip 2 - see tip 1.
Panang red curry was amazing. So good.
New menu. The old tax-included prices are the new pre-tax prices. And no more stamp cards.
They've really toned down the spiciness. Mild-medium has very little flavour now.
Add cashews to any box makes them better. But they're pretty good even without.
Make sure you get the cashier to repeat your order, music is super loud and depending on the cashier they do not always pay close attention. Makes it less frustrating for the cooks to remake an item
If you don't like the vegetables raw, just tell them to stir fry it along with your noodles/rice.
The chow mien was a little on the bland side
$9 lunch specials before 4.
It's not Malaysian but it's good food. Fills you right up. Service is slow during Friday lunch rush other wise the wait isn't too bad!
Ridiculous service. Ordered and waited for 45 minutes with no food. We were told the computer has " issues" while everyone else who ordered got their food!no one had the courtesy to say sorry!
Be careful as they ask if you want extras as if they are a complimentary choice but they add $2.50 for every "sure".
Don't be a hero when it comes to the spice, the suicide option is ridiculously spicy.
Try the Spicy Peanut Chicken Noodle Box with Free Range Chicken and make it Xtra, Xtra HOT!
Try the Noodle Box Chili Plum (via @Foodspotting)
I've always loved this place since I found it in Victoria. I've never been to Malaysia so not sure how it compares but I have never been disappointed. My favorite is spicy peanut.
Man. The food here is so westernized it tastes nowhere close to the real deal. It's still not bad, But it did throw me off a bit.
Can never go wrong with the Kung Pao. Free range chicken is a must.
"medium" is not hot enough...
