A great place to nibble on homemade flavorsome treats like scones, cakes, and tarts. The Orangery does not take reservations, and admission to the palace is not required to visit the restaurant. Read more

This beautiful tea house is the perfect place for a British afternoon tea experience: famous tea, good food, lovely surroundings and a view of the gardens!

Kedgeree was fantastic. Excellent range of hot and cold food. Expensive but what do you expect inside Kew gardens...?

Hundreds of pensioners plus slow service means your hot meal probably won't be hot by the time you get to eat it. Quality similar to my work canteen, but 5 times the price. Wouldn't rush back.

There are more cakes scattered around the benches; don't just go for the cakes at the 'cake' section-there's more choice around the perimeter...

Loved it! I recommend to try their Red Velvet cake 😍

Nice setting, expensive food, average quality. Come with your picnic at Kew and just indulge in cake and coffee here.

They have free water, cooled too, available. No need to buy bottled.

Lovely food but poor service means that sitting outside becomes a battle with pigeons and flying plastic cups!

Best avoided when it's busy. Servery is chaotic at best. Food is pricey, but quality is ok.

Pricey self service for a tasteless food. Better going somewhere out of the Gardens.
