    The full ham steak was delicious, enough for 2 to split. Mom and Pop restaurant, just our style. Nice large tables, room to spread out without bumping into the next table.

    One of my favorite places in the country. Established in 1924 up in 9th St., been eating here since 1976. Ham steak and eggs over easy with sourdough toast will knock your socks off.

    The well done steak was a wee bit tough to deal with but tasted good, there's no sauce, I guess that's the Traditional American way. But the omllete-kind potatoe that came with the steak was great.

    Best breakfast place in LA. Seat in the counter and ask for Pepe. He is awesome! Try everything you can, pancakes are glorious, coleslaw to die for. Hashbrowns are so good.

    The long line on the left of the building is for table seating, the much shorter line on the right is for counter seating. This is a quicker option for 1 or 2 people.
