The wait can be up to an hour, but the elaborate "high tea" -- lots of amazing tea, sure, but the mountain of pastries and sandwiches is even better -- for around $30 USD per person is worth the line. Read more

James Bond finds Ms Anders at the Peninsula due to its unique fleet of green Rolls Royces and literally twists her arm into helping him find Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974).

Dim sum @ Spring Moon - small portions but delicious. Service is fantastic. A quiet place celebrities like to come to so they don't go around with the carts. Can get pricey but worth trying once!

A fleet of Rolls Royces, Hong Kong's most celebrated afternoon tea, stunning views of Victoria Harbour and a touch of old Hong Kong. If you don't mind staying in Kowloon, stay here!

If the lines for High Tea are intimidating, at least stop in the lobby for a drink. No waiting in the evening. A sublime experience!

The classic spot for high tea. If it's even possible to nail a pot of Early Grey tea, The Peninsula did it.

The quality of the high tea sets have dropped dramatically...I can get better tea items at the city super than here...but their coffee is still pretty consistent...overall, no value for money...
