    Beware of lines, visitors. Processing through security can take up to an hour. Lines are sometimes outdoors, so of you're unable to be in the heat for health reasons plan accordingly :)

    A very large building.
    One interesting bit of trivia from the tour: there's a cluster of stores in the Pentagon dedicated to selling expensive jewelry, chocolates, flowers, leather handbags, etc. known as “Bad Husband Row.” Read more

    The tour is a blur... makes me feel they don't want me in there for too long. Can't blame them! That reservation is set for anyone to live in there for a year without missing the outside world!

    They're closing the metro entrance/exit on the visitor side on Feb 4th and it won't open until September. Visitors should expect to walk around the main entrance by the bus terminal to get to security
