People tend to check in during these times:
The crab soup and shrimp basket is excellent! Great customer service from the moment we walked in! If you are able come when they first open, few people and more room to explore!
Recognized for appealing Southern cuisine since 1753, it is an unforgettable dining experience. History tells that the Pirates' House was the tavern of choice by Capt. Flint of "Treasure Island."
The barbeque and the fried chicken are great!
Try the honey pecan fried chicken! I have never had chicken this good. Wonderful!
This restaurant is any child's dream, with candy in a treasure chest, kids' menus that turn into pirate hats and a real gold coin.
Cornbread and marmalade!
Best mac and cheese ever?
The food was excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. We had had the grilled chicken. But I think one of the ghost gave me diarrhea. Very haunted.
Sweetwater Georgia Brown on tap!!
Shrimp and grits are great
The glaze on the sweet potato is fantastic! Eating in the oldest house in GA is a great experience.
If eating here... Request Chad as your server!
Some favorites include pan-seared North Atlantic salmon, pecan-crusted flounder and local grouper.
Get the fried pickles
Great family restaurant. Crab soup was delicious.

Fried chicken and mash potatoes are amazing!!!
Make sure to request Elijah. You won't be disappointed
A great time in the bar area! Get the artillery punch, and if Travis is behind the bar, ask for the Pirate's Butthole shot! Get the pecan crusted fried chicken...soooooooo gooood!

Family friendly tavern for the young and not-so-young
Put your game face at this place. The last thing you want is to look like a tourist . I like to blend...
The grilled salmon salad is ginormous and quite tasty.
This is the 3rd oldest tavern in the country!
Pimento cheeseburger is cooked to your desired temperature (a rarity) and totally worthy skipping breakfast for. Eat in the bar and a enjoy the baudy jokes!
The shrimp Po boy was delish. Definitely the best place we ate all weekend. Can't wait to go back
Cool old building, some interesting history. Drink some rum, and try the pecan fried chicken. The building is said to be haunted.
This place is truly historic with authentic, original atmosphere and the best food I've ever had.

Get a tour from the pirate. Ask your server
Good for kids, not a huge variety of vegetarian dishes.
Just had some drinks and a 'tour' of the place by a 'pirate' actor. Only stop at the bar to have drinks if you have LOTS of time on your hands. The tour is kid geared.
The grilled smoked gouda pimento cheese burger is fantastic
The lunch buffet was really, really good.
Great place. Good food. Strong mint julip. Huge amount of food. Only vegetarian option is the house salad.
Try the southern fried quail and waffles appetizer! And for your meal the chicken and sausage jambalaya which is out of this world !!!
The food is delicious and it's a great place for kids. Make sure you take advantage of the nightly specials. Release the Kracken punch was a big hit at our table.
MUST check out the full house! And the history....incredible.
We loved it. Shrimp and grits are delicious. Also the pork chops were thick and juicy. .loved the wine marinated spinach! Everything was awesome! Definitely coming back! !
Food is delicious! Especially the Pecan Fried Chicken! The staff are wonderful!
They give you half of a chicken when you order the honey pecan fries chicken! It's a lot of food, but it's delicious!
Don't waste time or $. Went with Old Savannah Tour & the whole experience was a joke. Chad (mgr or whatever) just made the experience worse with his lack of concern & poor/rude way of "handling" it.
I had the Broiled Seafood Platter with grits as my side dish, very very good!
