Raines Law Room is an upscale cocktail bar in the Flatiron District
Ring the bell, get seated in plush couches. Pull chain on wall to order, classy ladies come get your order then bring the drinks from an unseen back bar. Great music/atmosphere. Fantastic date spot.
One of the best speakeasy in NYC
Paper Plane (often off-menu, but they make it by request!)
Awesome setup. Come early though as it can be tricky to get in
Go with an even Guy-to-Girl ratio for a better chance to get in. Once inside, marvel at the delicious cocktails and great ice cubes.
Famous. Just to visit for cocktails
The bartender is completely amazing - if you don't know what you want, he'll whip something delicious up to please your palate preferences. Atmosphere is great. Best place in nyc I've been to yet.
Cutest underground place. Velvet walls. Bomb drinks. Get it son.
This speakeasy knows how to set the mood. Very classy, very sexy, excellent mixologists. 🍸
A nice speakeasy bar like a train compartment
The perfect romantic date spot. Amazing service, adorable back patio, delicious cocktails.
Annoying to get in but a cool spot if you go earlier and keep your group small
The best cocktail speakeasy now doing Tiki drinks. The blackstrap rum mixed with pineapple, Campari, bitters, and other treats served over a big ice rock tasted like refreshing molasses goodness.
Amazing cocktails and great staff
Great setting, friendly staff, nicely curated drink list. Thankfully, Raines is about more than the hidden entrance.
I love how you have to knock the get in and once you're seated pull a small chain in the wall for service.
Went on a Saturday night with a group of girlfriends. Very cosy and intimate atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
My favorite speakeasy in New York.
Order the bees knees it's the bomb
Reservations are good, but you can also leave your name and number at the door and they'll text you when they're ready for you. Go pregame down the street!
Secluded couch areas are sweet. Can't go wrong with any of the drinks, really. Especially any of the ones with ginger.
For a spicy and surprising twist, try the Kentucky Buck Fifty... Or let Adam choose for you
Hidden, intimate spot perfect for a date. Similar to dear Irving or flat iron lounge. Great place to have a delicious cocktail & good conversation.
The Adonis cocktail was great. Definitely a chill vibe and good for conversations
Head bartender Adam is a total riot. Hang at the bar to watch him work. Swing by before dinner to put your name in. They keep it intimate. Ring the bell to get service from your private couches.
Best day to come is midweek after early dinner. The Raines Law Room is a beautiful, sexy and perfect place to unwind, catch up and sip on finely made shaken or stirred cocktails.
Perfect hidden hole in the wall speakeasy! Looks like an apartment from the outside, you really have to know what you're looking for to find it. Great cocktails, excellent service.
Good crowd a great staff and amazing drinks.
Amazing and friendly staff!
Always go early, always eat before hand and always get multiple, multiple cocktails.
Pioneer Spirit (rye, apple brandy, orgeat and angostura bitters), the Andean Dusk (Pisco, grapes, lemon and rose champagne), 10 Gallon Hat (mezcal, ancho chile, lime and pineapple).
Intimate little 1920s-style speakeasy, but feels a little tired compared to the larger and more elaborately decorated Dear Irving
Awesome speakeasy but often crowded...best to go at off times. All the drinks are good, and they have outdoor space/garden in the back for when it's nice. General decor is really dark.
Such a classy vibe here! Dim lights, curtains to seperate the tables. But lines are long so reservation or getting here early is recommended
Super intimate, great cocktail options.
Ross Collin is a top spot earner! Make sure you have a reservation to try some delicious concoctions. They stir up some beautiful symphonies of spirits!
Amazing cocktails. Leave your number at the door, don't ask how long. They'll call when they're ready.
Let the bartender surprise you!
Sexy wallpaper, awesome booths, delicious drinks. My tip is to leave your name early, get dinner and drinks around the area, and then be ready for Raines at a minute's notice when they call!
Had to wait at the bar for a seat, which was actually kind of cool. Different hostess was much less creepy too!
Just the experience is worth the visit, the cocktails are just icing on the cake.
OMG.You have to visit this place.wonderful speak easy bar.back to 1930....
All I can say is "woah" to the American Trilogy & the Andean Dusk
Tricky to get here, but if you're lucky it will be worth it
Ask the bartender to get creative with your drink based on a couple criteria. Will not disappoint !
