The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is a tranquil downtown hotel from which to enjoy the city’s spirited atmosphere and numerous cultural opportunities.
Great hotel, nice gym!
Visit the Terrace Courtyard on the second level of The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco featuring a manicured garden with roses and a decorative water fountain that can be reserved for special events.
Hotel interior and rooms need a real makeover, but the location and the views are worth every penny that you pay for the nights you stay xx
Their two room suites are worth the price for the views of the city and the bridges that they offer xx
Service was FANTASTIC. The only mess up was that the valet mixed up which car was mine and that was once. Besides that, everyone was friendly, addressed me as "Mr Smith" and were true hotel employees.
One of my favorite spits for afternoon tea. Check for dates. The holiday tea schedule is different.
Nicest hotel gym I have seen in a long time. New equipment and huge for a hotel. Well done RC.
Get a room on the Club Level lounge floor!
Very disappointed by the service and attitude in this Ritz Carlton Property
Teddy Bear Christmas brunch for kids!
Jennifer at the main bar is fantastic! Try the peach Manhattan :)
Ha. 20% "service charge" added to bar tab by default. Tourists, get a beer somewhere else!
Nice rag left by housekeeping.
Ummmm ask for a room housekeeping actually cleaned.
Short walk to downtown.
Fresh from a makeover (good-bye chintz, hello earth-toned geometric patterns), today’s Ritz, near Nob Hill, still has doting service.
Huge rooms! The closet is so big I could sleep in it. Keep in mind this is coming from an NYC girl.
Very disappointed with the rooms. Small and nothing special. Stayed at Holiday Inns that were as nice. And having to walk up that hill is a HIKE
wow wonderful food ( small + expensiv)
Don't forget to take advantage of the free overnight shoe shine!
This hotel is on top of a hill (lobby is on the fourth floor but all rooms are built below it) so make sure you are are in decent shape if you plan on walking a lot to/from the hotel.
So well located. Friendly. Usually good about late checkouts if they can accommodate.
The service here last four days has been outstanding!
Best concierge lounge ever and I've been in many.
Amazing Easter brunch buffet!
This place is great if you want to relax and have a nice dinner every night and this place has a nice neighborhood too!
Don't use Valet Parking, it's $72 per night with tax. There is a garage down the street for $20 and you park on the street for free overnight on Sundays.
Get a facial from Katrina at the spa!
if you aren't concerned with budget, this hotel is a dream. Centrally located, excellent service. Great happy hour as well.
Prepping for round table interview with Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek!
order room service, the macaroni & cheese. your welcome.
Try the croissants in the AM....you won't regret it!
make sure you sit at the bar for the view of the city, and order a Pearadise Martini
Try the mint chocolate ice cream sandwiches and the warm chocolate cake from the lobby lounge. Delicious!
The wonderful housekeeping staff goes above and beyond the available "services."
Nothing is better after a long day: Sit in the bar, order a Manhattan and the Chocolate Manjari Caramel Cake. Everything will be okay after that.
If you have Marriott Platinum status don't expect any special treatment or an upgrade!
Try the Burger Dog
Friday and Saturday is caviar in the club room at six pm.
The outside rooms are much larger than the inside rooms and they are the same price so ask for an outside room
Wednesday they have a seafood raw bar in the evenings. The corn beef hash and the mini burgers are great. The pasta not so much tastes like out of the box.
Minimal TMO reception in the first floor ballroom but 1X coverage on VZW.
Above the tunnel.
Half hour south of San Francisco on the headlands just south of Half Moon Bay. Gorgeous. Free beach access and a great fire pit.
