It’s good to have a stiff drink in the Round Robin Bar of the hotel where Julia Ward Howe finally found some printable words for the tune of “John Brown’s Body.” —Christopher Hitchens

Not exactly a young crowd. (Read: lots old guys in blue blazers and khakis.) But the wine was great and you always see someone notable there. A dignified DC watering hole.

It's a quaint little bar. Their cocktail and drink programs could use a lot more depth.

Far from impressed by the service and the drinks. Additionally, staff gave me attitude for ordering two drinks while my companion was in the restroom. Needless to say, I won't be back.
