This place has the relaxed, southern ambience we were looking for.
Incredible bourbon and an awesome environment
$3 whiskey shot of the day. Limited vegetarian options. Great atmosphere. Ask for Shelby, she's cool.
The chili is the best
for brunch, you can't go wrong with an oyster po boy and a draft miller high life. plenty of space at the bar.
This place rocks. Great service, cocktails, liquor selection, and atmosphere. The Mint Julep and Kentucky Mule are excellent. Can't wait to come back.
I got a drink called the hillbilly hellraiser. They should change the name to the jackass snowcone. Never had a drink that bad before. But I love this place.
Great selection of Bottled In Bond bourbons and Whiskies
Really good fried oysters and chicken livers.
Huge portions! Delicious drinks! Michiladas? In Kentucky? Who knew!
Much goods. Burgerz yum.
One of my favorite bars. Serves Sterling beer. And good food to boot.
Great selection of bourbon, think it was in the range of 150+. Menu updated frequently. They even have a vodka ;)
W/ IND conference vendors
Everything is great here! Love the bourbon selection the most.
For brunch, Bloody Mary (spicy and satisfying) and the Blinker (bourbon cocktail for brunch- yes please!)
Drink the mint juleps. Drink them now.
Fried chicken and waffles; the brisket; and awesome bourbon drinks
If you like fried pickles, you can't beat the ones at Silver Dollar
Always love the atmosphere and the fried pickles and. Chicken livers but the chicken and waffles will continue to make you come back for more
Gold rush cocktail
The Silver Dollar makes a good old fashioned
Come for the bourbon stay for the food. Added to the list of favorites in my hometown.
Best Bloody Mary ever
Honoring the "'Bakersfield Sound,' ... great juke joints and the spirited people who inhabited them" has earned The Silver Dollar much praise, both for whiskey and for food. [Eater 18 Member]
This East End honky-tonk, "centered around Bakersfield Sound music and Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey," was named one of the top 10 whiskey bars in America by GQ. It's also a hot spot for brunch.
seriously the best mac n cheese
Banana pudding is a good thang.
Best meal I've had in a long time. Get the banana pudding, you won't regret it.
One of the best restaurants I've been to in this city. Best fried oysters ever!
The rainbow trout is delicious!
Fantastic brisket!!!! And the cornbread on the side is perfect!
Chicken livers & bourbon.
One of the best Mint Julep I had. Last try the chorizo corn dog.
Love the rebel rouser cocktail!
You have got to try the banana pudding
Those Moscow Mules are the bomb. They should be called Mind-Melting Moscow Mules. Fried okra is very decent, and they have an awesome collection of honky-tonk for the turntable. Good times.
I can't believe it, the bar service is worse than the last time I was here - a feat in itself!
Best place ever. Try all of the sauces.
Brunch: Steak, eggs, waffles
Try the fried oysters - the sauce is amazing.
Packed with hipsters served by hipsters. Great brisket
It was true then and now: Nothing motivates the masses like a Gold Rush!
Honky Tonk brunch may be the best brunch in Louisville.
Order the chorizo sopes! Amazing!
Try the Beef Empanadas with the dark brown ancho chile sauce! Yum!
