The bed was horrible (very hard). When we told them they informed us all their beds were the same and the only thing they could do was throw a comforter under the fitted sheet. That did not help!

The bedroom in my New York apartment was bigger than the rooms here.

Far from a boutique hotel, some one needs to clarify to them that concept ASAP. It's an OK Hotel, location is convenient but other than that there's nothing remarkable about the facilities or service

  • Kindra S.

Don't stay here. Valets scratched my NEW car, and the company the hotel contracts with won't fix it because the valet said he didn't do it. Seriously?

    Kindra Simpson · August 23, 2012

Be sure to eat at Currant! Their happy hour is amazing, and it's a wonderful little bar and restaurant to dine at while you're there!

The out-of-room amenities include first come-first serve bikes, a yoga studio, and a signature dining experience at Currant. After a good workout, I suggest a spa package like the Sweet Surrender. Read more

Great, clean, quaint hotel. Super min-gym, so bring your sneakers. No pool which is a bummer, but there is a restaurant with a bar attached.

Make sure to take advantage of the hotel's complimentary bike rentals. Only a few blocks away from the harbor and the rise is gorgeous!

Staff is mute and appears annoyed to have to check in guests, valet bangs up the car, no shower door, you enter the room through the bathroom, TV has lousy signal. Other than that great place.

Watch the valets - they blew out my stereo speakers & scratched my car! Front staff are also zombies who don't greet customers when they arrive?!?! It's a weird place!

Makes for an interesting stay with no shower doors and transparent bathroom doors...

Paid extra for a "city view" room today. First room they gave us had a mid-floor view of a brick wall. They were nice about moving us... to a higher view of a different brick wall. VERY disappointed.

Staying here w gf, small rooms, small bathroom, squeaky bed. This place is best for those traveling alone (or w/ a pet). Bathrooms have sliding door, offers very little privacy. 1st of 4

A gem of a boutique hotel that is really big on yoga and has a highly lauded on-site restaurant. Don't miss the informative, free "Rise and Shine" tours of downtown San Diego. · October 22, 2011
