The Tabernacle was a baptist church up until 1994, when it was sold to use as a entertainment venue for the 1996 Olympics. Thats some soul music!
Best venue in Atlanta for a. show.
In the main room, head to the front of the right or left bar, order your first drink, and then turn around and watch your show from right there.
The Tabernacle is a 2600 capacity, 4 story, 100 year old converted church that now features some of the bigger metal shows.
Don't worry if you didn't get the ticket you wanted. There isn't a bad seat in this amazing music venue.
dan cho band was the best band I've ever seen here.
If you feel like sitting and need some exercise, keep walking upstairs until you can't go any higher. Great views.
The restored former church hosted Johnny Cash, James Brown, and the Blues Brothers during the Centennial Olympic Games in 1996.

Great venue for teens and their parents. Teens in the mosh pit, parents with a birds eye view. Sweeeeeeet.
There's always a white guy standing outside trying to sell you some tickets with fake VIP necklaces on. The tickets are legit but the VIP passes are bullsh*t.
A beautiful place and great concert venue!
Ween was awesome. I love to stand near the back on the main floor near the bar. That way you can see the entire stage and can stay hydrated.
My favorite concert venue in Atlanta!
I like to stand just in front of the sound board but then they moved in upstairs. Floor still has the est sound. One of the best venues in town overall.
Great intimate venue. Make sure to check out Ted's Montana Grill before/after the show.

One of my all time faves. Parking in the deck across the street cheaper than the surface lots right next to the venue. Ted's Montana Grill also right across the street.
Best venue ever
Great concert venue! Not a bad spot in the house! Stand at the stage or sit in the 2nd or 3rd level. All great seats!
Bet that concert got you all hungry. Come down to Meehan's Downtown. It's just a walk away and the drinks are delicious! Cheers!
For a quick, strong cocktail before the show, skip Ted's Montana Grill. Go to Park Bar...it's 2 blocks away.
The percentage of audience members that smell like shit varies based upon the artist performing.
