Any main course is good. All come with your choice of as many sides as you like. Signature drink is the "Original Sin" with a house limit of 2 - for good reason. :-)

House merlot was wonderful; full bodied, even palate with a smooth smoky finish.

I got the prime rib Au poivre (in pepper) there was no pepper. In fact the sauce it sat it was sweet, too sweet. Some horse reddish cut it but I was disappointed.

Great old age setting. However, the food is better suited for people who put ketchup on their steaks..

A great State College and Penn State tradition. The food is amazing. Their all you can eat sides menu is the perfect thing to order when you are not sure what you want. The charm and staff are great!

They have fantastic dishes here, but the best part of all is that you can order as many sides as you would like free of charge. My advice would be to try the applesauce.

The architecture and interior design gives it a colonial feel. The Tavern serves wines from the Mount Nittany Vineyard and Winery. This is a great place to bring your parents.

One of the best places to eat in State College. Unlimited sides with every meal! Try the spinach salad.

If they say the wait is "just a few minutes" it really means forty-five.

Great food, great service & prices, but little privacy; you can easily overhear boasters at nearby tables brag to hear their own voices, detracted from the meal.

not good after football game food---and it's pricey for the quality

I wanted to like this place but I couldn't. Everything lacks flavor which may explain the older crowd. Waiters are cute though.

Nice that you can have unlimited sides but that doesn't make up for the quality of the entrees. Crawfish creole was just ok. Pasta is overcooked. Also weak drinks ... : / nice atmosphere though.
