People tend to check in during these times:
Great intimate venue for concerts and shows! Can only have alcoholic drinks upstairs tho. Get there early if you want a seat.
Good venue for small acts and comedy shows. Check out the upstairs for real intimate shows with up-and-comers!
NO LOUD ALLOWED! 😩
I was surprised at how comfy I was in the pit. Great sound, nice people and the giant fans kept me comfy and were unobtrusive.
Only had beer on the balcony and wouldn't let us take it down to the main floor. Lame.
The trocadero is an amazing place to listen to live music. It's kinda small but that's what give it its amazing atmosphere. Whether UR in the back, the front or on the balcony you will love the show.
This concert venue is right in the middle of chinatown in center city. I have been here a couple of times and its huge inside. I enjoy coming here for concerts!
Parking is about $25 no matter which nearby lot you try. Gorgeous old building, good sound, rude staff.
Staff can be pretty rude, but its a fun spot for small shows.
Movie Mondays in the Balcony are spectacular, everyone shares a sense of comradery. $3 gets you in and gets you a chip that is good for redemption of $3 towards food or drink. Great movies every week.
Great place to see a show of any type. Hardcore, hip hop, country, whatever. Love it here.
Very well organized with lines for concerts. Helpful staff. Very nice place, I am pleased with my experience here!
If you get there early, there is limited seating upstairs... With a bar & restrooms.
Chivas....don't take no for an answer
Great place and if you are 21 & up go upstairs cause the best view is up in the balcony trust me!!!
Movie Mondays are fun. There's alcohol, good people, and raffles and trivia after the movie. Definitely a good date event.
When someone who works at The Troc says "out back," this is where they mean.
Bring beer to the Sound & Lighting guys and they'll live you forever.
No moshing? Really, can we skank? Fuck it!
$3 Movie Mondays! Enjoy cult classics like Edward Scissorhands and Die Hard. The bar stays open before, during and after the show. Check it out!!
Best concert venue in Philly.
Can't open a tab and there's a $10 dollar minimum on card purchases. ;)
Boycott this place. The owner joanna pang is a biggot and dislikes gays/lesbians/transexuals. Shame on her. Stay away
Well, I guess I must be a total dickhead since I work at The Troc. Thanks, Gab, I had no idea that working here made me into a dickhead.
ride the XXXpress to the roots picnic in philly and save the the cab fare for the “I was there” tee. rsvp here http://on.fb.me/KvjgvE
You can find the Perfect lady here. I'm proof.
Great venue for live music!! On the floor and could see wonderfully - women's bathroom could be bigger.
Even though it is far from the most handicap accessible place, staff was super nice helping me out with a broken foot-though I couldn't get a drink since the bar was upstairs
Remember kids vote early and vote often!!!
Attend a special event at one of the cities premiere venues. Since the dawn of the Philly music scene artists have performed at this amazing attraction in the heart of Philadelphia.
Amazing atmosphere & acoustics. There's a WaWa down the street for all post concert refreshments (and you'll need them in the summer).
Great place to see a show but parking close by will cost you. Also, quite possibly the worst women's restroom ever. Avoid if possible.
Less Than Jake Killed it
The bathrooms are in dire need of remoldeling
For $3 on Movie Monday, enjoy cult classics like Edward Scissorhands and Die Hard. The bar stays open before, during and after the show. Arrive before 7 pm, get a free beer and a bag of popcorn.
Very interesting decor. They screen movies or have live music

The Kooks concert!!!!!!!!! <3
Get there early and get upstairs...Bar and a Show!
Occasionally brilliant for a late 70s / early 80s punk/post punk nostalgia trip!
Balcony is crap. Not enough seating but it slopes so deep if you stand you can't see.
The floor is so shiny oh my gosh!
Ximena is wonderful!
This 19th century Victorian Trocadero Theatre is the only one of its kind still open in the country. Notable showgirls performed at this location when it was used as a burlesque venue in the 1950s.
