People tend to check in during these times:
The Warfield is a 2250 person venue and has been a San Francisco institution for 86 years. The Warfield continues to be the heart and soul of the SF music scene and hosts the best concerts and events.
Great rancid show on Jan 1 2016
Awesome sound, ornate ceiling. Not a bad seat in the house
I love the staggered levels on the floor. Makes it so much easier to see the stage.
Even the very back balcony seats give you a decent view of the stage
Architecturally beautiful inside, this nearly 100-year-old former vaudeville theater stands out among venues. Buy your GA tickets early, they sell it fast.
A classic SF venue. Balcony upstairs for those that want to sit. Great GA area on the main floor -- very close to the stage.
Drinks are expensive. They can only make the basic cocktails for $13. Careful when you go. You might end up getting balcony seating if you are going for an edm thing. Also, edm stuff ends around 11:30
Best ghetto opera house featuring awesome indie bands!
I've never been in the balcony, but I've always had great experiences on the floor. The venue is on the semi-sketchy part of Market St, so just be aware if you're walking alone.
Beautiful venue, decent bartenders though overpriced drinks. Floor staff/security are kind of dicks - wouldn't let me sit down in back for even a minute when I'd just gotten injured down in front.
Great venue for show like legendary music masters #KingCrimson now. What a great BDay eve!
My favorite large venue in San Fran. Park at the large parking lot nearby or take BART, don't try for street parking. Don't worry about where you're sitting, it's a great view from anywhere.
The marquee, staff and shows are the best! I am biased though
Low rent security
The Good: Great views from the back and solid sound. The Ugly: Beers are $10 and they don't have free water to keep you hydrated, only $4 bottled.
Closes early for most events -- be wary of your time!
Expensive drinks.. $10 beer..
Make sure you grab a $16 beer. That shit is tight!
Took advantage of the special seating upgrade.
Definitely pre-game... $15 for a beer?! They aren't even sold in gold coated glasses...
If you're sitting in the balcony, you'll probably be high by the end of the show with all of that pot smoke wafting upwards.
Olivia is the best, her performance and personality are so charming
Stop By Box Office on Sundays to buy tix for AXS venues including #SF Regency sans $10 Online Fee
Epic venue, saw Cake on 12/31/07. Counted down the New Year with them.
Anyone willing to trade a general admission ticket four an actual seat? Text me 9164778151
Overheard: " I know you from instagram"....
Box office opens an hour and a half before doors open. If you're looking for tickets or need to pick them up, get there early.
Best place to be is front and center, at the barrier!
Buy tix at the box office and avoid all those effing surcharges.
There is not a bad seat at this venue. Even if you are in the last row of the balcony, you will have an amazing time.
I had a bite of my GFs panini sandwich she bought at Warfield and it ripped the inside of my mouth like a razor blade. Went to the first aid booth bleeding profusely and the geniuses there gave me gum
Without going into a total "bash" session, I'll be nice and put it like this...Some of the staff at this place is a little TOO serious. That is all.
$18 for a cocktail? Come on people! Also, why must the staff in General Admission be so rude? Would only come here if a band I reaaaally want to see is playing.
head to The Showdown down the street beforehand to pre-funk
PS - if you're underage, don't try to get drinks. You will be 86'ed. Saw it happen.
Wait staff will take orders from the balcony. Handy, but pricey.
The bartender and floor manager didn't even know what Foursquare was! Not able to get that free drink special.
Saw Fantasia here, very intimate setting which is nice. Standing room only for GA tix so ladies wear flats...
