Truffle mac&cheese - with every penny!
Special place. Great food. Perfect date nite place.
Looks good, service OK but don't eat here. All food overcooked, they don't know what clotted cream is, long waits, presentation sloppy, limited drinks selection, poorly selected.
The back room is great.
Beautiful back seating. Still dreaming about it. The brunch was good but overpriced.
Nice atmosphere but not amazed by the food or value.
Very upscale fancy restaurant. On the pricier side. Good was very good
If you're here for a one time visit, you HAVE to get the mac&cheese -- it is truly one of a kind
Decent brunch, but overrated. Mediocre Bloody Mary.
Super cozy and the food is phenomenal. Highly recommend it for dinner or at very least a drink in the bar.
Burger!!! And a Beer
The garden is amazing and they have fireplaces going when it's cold. The food is average for the price range, but I'd still recommend it if you like ambience.
Great eggs Benedict
Delicious brunch. Garden area is super cozy and cute.
Arctic char, oysters, martinis, bourbon storm
Good was great! Have to go back for the $100 truffle Mac and cheese. Super cute inside... Cozy up next to their fireplaces!
Meh. Avoid. So many options to choose from. Don't pick this.
Have a drink at the front bar & fireplace, or have dinner by the fireplace in the back garden
Didn't find the food to be amazing. Appetizers were the best part but the space is great. Love the cozy vibe. No photos allowed
The place and the service are really good! I loved the octopus (and the drinks)!
Amish chicken YOU..SHOULD..TRY..
The sommeliers are phenomenal!
Biscuits, I could eat tens of them.. Chicken pot pie & fries is a must! Ask for a table near fire place and oh they're not allow you to instagram your meal, YES..!! 😝
Chicken Pot Pie is awesome ! Grilled/roasted squid starter small but tasty. Well crafted drinks
Brunch in the outdoor garden, perfection. Great space, and amazing decor. Great for groups, or a even a date spot.
Used to love this place but food have gone down hill
As suggested, the truffle mac and cheese is amazing. But so is the burger, the crab cakes, and the tagliatelle.
The Dolcetto D'Alba is delightful even in the Summer!
A high-end restaurant offering a unique take on American home cooking. We love how the fireplace adds a cozy and comfortable feel. Go with friends, and be sure to order the Chicken Pot Pie!
Very good brunch... not many people know that they serve brunch!
The pork chop special was outstanding.
Great meal, I suggest the duck.
The back solarium area is really pretty with a fireplace.
This place is home. The food is great (get a booth), the decor is perfect (that mural!) and the bar makes a tight martini (kalamata vs green). Classic WV.
Beautiful spot. Surprisingly reasonably priced food but the wine list has some sticker shock. Celeb sightings galore. I sat next to Keith Richards and Fran Lebowitz.
Ask for the room in the back. Quaint atmosphere. The waitstaff were nice, attentive. Most of their dishes are reasonably priced (for NYC). I had the $125 macaroni & cheese w/white truffles.😱Good wine
Try the braised rabbit or the roasted amish chicken.
Great place, good food and nice atmosphere.
Warm, flakey biscuits with honey butter.
A delightful oasis, with playful but mysterious little dishes to boot.
So romantic and the truffle mac and cheese IS worth it.
$13 veuve clicquot mimosas and a cute garden to enjoy them in
Certainly the place to be seen except a 6:30 dinner otherwise its you, or in my case, me, and the waiters seeing each other. Prime time better!
One of my favorite things about this place is how quiet it is. You'd never guess you were in NYC. Feels like Europe, and the people watching is great.
Go for the truffle Mac and cheese, stay for the biscuits and butter!
On of the best chicken I've ever tried. Service was amazing. Totally worth it!
If you're brave, try the Pork Belly with Grilled Peaches!
Apart from all main dishes the bread with honey butter is worth dying for.
Watch closely. You could miss the entrance in a heartbeat.
