The best ways to see Seattle are from up high! Whether it's the Space Needle, the Columbia Tower, or a downtown hotel, you will get a great view of the architecture, Mt. Rainier, and the waterways. Read more

The hotel is showing its age, especially the elevators. Parking overnight is very expensive. They have a very central location which is perfect for exploring the market, shopping, and Capitol Hill.

    Curtis M · April 6, 2015
  • Jermaine G.

If you "Go Green" they give you $5 to spend in the hotel (excluding booze) for not cleaning your room. Excellent trade off for spending minimal time in your room and only needed clean towels.

    Jermaine Griffin · September 28, 2012
  • James W.

They offer a guided 3-5 mile run in the morning with views of the Space needle and waterfront. Easy pace; fun way to start your day! Meet at concierge at 6:30am

    James Womboldt · June 30, 2015
  • Heather H.

Try to get high floor and waterview, unless hotel is fully booked and you dont like long elevator rides.. Can take awhile to get to lobby when hotel is busy but i will alway take the high floor!

    Heather Hoerauf · June 2, 2013
  • Love M.

Great customer service. Perfect location in downtown near the Pike Place Market. View is awesome from the top. No free wi-fi in the rooms even with spg membership.

    Love Me · January 18, 2015
  • Richard D.

Don't stay in room 50 on any of the floors (small). Ask for 2 queen beds to get best rooms. Skipping maid service gets you 500 points + saves water! Excellent beds except in room x50

    Richard Dean · October 5, 2010
  • Bhaskar K.

The elevator system is easily the worst I have encountered. We waited for 30 mins on the 30th floor for an elevator to take us down.. It was so bad that I wouldn't consider staying at this hotel ever.

    Bhaskar K · January 17, 2015
  • Carolyn V.

Do NOT eat at the Coldwater Grill in the hotel!!! It is way overpriced and we had horrible service. The waiter rarely came by and when he did he had a poor attitude. Is this dessert worth $8?! Nope!

    Carolyn Vinyard · August 30, 2011

Stay here whenever in Seattle! Amazing views and fabulous caring service.  Received lovely treat for my 100th stay at Starwood property!

    Heather Hoerauf · June 28, 2014
  • Sandeep G.

Internet access spotty and their service team always makes you feel like it's only you that has this problem. Good luck if you simply want to rest and work. Twice now same issues.

    Sandeep G · June 9, 2011
  • Phillip A.

Walls are a little thin but the city views amd excellent staff really bring character to this establishment. A 3pm late checkout was nice to have as well.

    Phillip Austria · December 8, 2014

Fantastic view & amazing beds. There is a door between you and your neighbor which makes for thin walls. Sounds like they're in the room with me..

The SPG Preferred Guest helper named Lee was super courteous and helpful! And the heated pool and hot tub opens 5am - 11pm...very convenient.

North tower w/view of the space needle. Heavenly bed (ahh), great location...rail to space needle, walk to Pike's Street market. Couldn't use my MiFi or phone hotspot, which forces u2 use their wifi.

    May N. · February 12, 2011
  • Jim H.

Nice hotel but had to use the stairs multiple times because the elevators take way too long. Sometimes as long as 15 minutes during peak times.

    Jim Huff · May 31, 2012
  • Kira L.

Great hotel! Friendly service, super comfortable beds, breathtaking views, and the location is central to EVERYTHING. Highly recommended!

    Kira Lake · November 14, 2012
  • Kimmie N.

Slow elevators and high floors creak. Beds are fab and lots of sq.ft in each room but everything else about the hotel is just so-so. Gym is teeeeeny.

    Kimmie Nguyen · August 19, 2011
  • Nathan K.

Great hotel to stay at in Seattle. North tower offers incredible views. Solid service and convenient to everything downtown.

    Nathan Kam · October 10, 2011
  • Tommy Y.

Nice hotel. Space Needle within (my) walking distance. SPG check in counter is in a separate room to the right of general check in.

    Tommy Yang · November 30, 2014
  • Michael M.

The valet parking is a bit pricey, but that is what is all over Downtown Seattle. Good size rooms in the towers.

    Michael McGary · January 6
  • Jake C.

The Westin is really outdated - wood furniture, few plug-ins, horrible AC, no fans, old TVs, no sauna/steamroom/spa. But the beds are AMAZING.

    Jake Campbell · May 22, 2011
  • Dirty B.

One of the best hotels anywhere! So nice, great location near Pike and downtown. Would stay again in a second!

Stay here when in Seattle! Ask for high floor with a view... Totally worth it

    Heather Hoerauf · September 8, 2013
  • Bill C.

Used to be one of the best in Seattle. Now it's mediocre with a not so great restaurant. Burgers, really? Good location.

    Bill Caples · September 24, 2015
  • Chris B.

This place is in dire need of a remodel. Dinky workout room, beaten up furniture/fixtures. Stay at the Sheraton on 6th... A much nicer SPG property.

    Chris Baldwin · April 13, 2011
  • Jillian W.

Jonathan at the front desk (loves sushi, from Vegas) is ah-maz-ing. Off the hook service.

    Jillian Walker · August 10, 2014
  • Bennett C.

If traveling with kids, ask for a Westin Kids Club backpack filled with a few goodies, at check-in.

    Bennett C · September 21, 2013
  • Nirnaya L.

Carpets are old and the hotel could definitely use some makeover. 46th floor pretty awesome view

    Nirnaya Lohani · July 9, 2015
  • Dave B.

Stay somewhere better like the Sheraton. It smells weird and the TV reception sucks. Everything is sorta worn... even the elevator makes me nervous.

    Dave Berge · November 28, 2011
  • Clarissa S.

pros: heavenly beds; amazing view of Seattle. cons: having to pay for internet access, like really?

    Clarissa Suharli · January 4

Super comfy beds. Nice bathrooms. Great views of the Space Needle and mountains if you're facing West.

    Rachel Dellovechio · August 25, 2011

Apparently having a conversation in your room at 3 am will get you a visit by security and threat of eviction.

    Jess Miyaji · July 15, 2012

Double bed rooms have less wear and tear than the king bed ones at this conference hosting hotel

Really nice hotel in the best possible location in downtown Seattle. No complaints whatsoever!

    Antti · May 22, 2013
  • Jennifer E.

Only one electrical outlet in the whole room, and it was next to the door - not very convenient!

    Jennifer Ertel · June 8, 2013
  • Jesse H.

High floors can creak all night, and it's not your neighbors busy at 'it', but the steel construction of the swaying towers.

    Jesse Houwing · October 21, 2014
  • Mr B.

If you're a Starwood Platinum, forget about any kind of upgrade to a suite. You'll get the standard room with a view. BFD.

Great hotel. Awesome service. Really nice renovations.

Great downtown location. Minutes to all of the best Seattle attractions.

    Stephen Whelan · August 7, 2014

Rooms can be really noisy when it's windy outside and the whole building feels like it sways.

    Jennifer Evans · November 14, 2015

Views were great but the rooms were run down. Certainly not a 4 star hotel as promised when booked.

Free wifi in the lobby, but you gotta ask the folks @ the front desk for login credentials.

The elevators here suck. Expect to add 5-10 minutes to every entry or exit.

    Carrie Yutzy · July 21, 2012

Break in and go to the 32nd floor and check out an amazing view of queen anne/space needle and more.

    Mark Steenrod · March 25, 2009

No complaints... And I am picky. House keeping knocking on my door at 8am is a tad early though :/
