The Westin St. Francis - official site. More than just a hotel, The Westin St. Francis on Union Square.
The desserts are excellent! Stop by for sweets and tea.
Bad, bad, bad hotel. The only good thing is the ubication. You hear all night noises from the rooms beside yours! I can't sleep in all my stay.
pros: best location; heavenly beds. cons: always crowded, and having to pay for internet access, like really?
Unbelievably horrible rooms. Never stay here.
Basic business hotel
Good place to stay on Union Square (albeit pricey). Close to restaurants, shops, convenient stores, etc.
Ok older hotel that would bet better if it upgraded to a more modern, contemporary style.
Great hotel in great location
Very nice lobby area. Bathroom hidden away
Bathroom hard to find but never busy.
Classic, clean hotel with a decent view. Convenient location. Gym is not bad - lots of elliptical and treadmill.
Location is awesome, surrounded by premium designers boutiques and dep stores. room service is excellent the only down side is that rooms needs better sound proofing
Location, location, location
Go here for Clock Bar
The hotel was originally built in 1907, they have all the classic details displayed for you, it's like a hotel/museum. Location is GREAT right in front of union square.
My goto hotel in SF. Cannot beat the location.
Nothing like ending the night with an absinthe from The Clock Bar. Professionals only please... And you'll still probably want to head up to your room before you finish it ...
The front entry is so glamorous. Marble with such a detailed ceiling... I read the history of this hotel and it is pretty great. Check out its Wilkipedia page.
So, so crowded. Location is "great" if you want to be in the middle of Union Sq. with thousands of other tourists.
Centrally located on union square but the rooms are lacking a bit. Service was good, gym is nice and very clean though. Overnight parking is a bit absurd at $58/night for guests.
I never stayed here but I've gone to a lot of events here like fashion shows at the very top penthouse or just hung out at the Clock Bar. This hotel however has a lot of history.
This hotel has mixed reviews online but I've had a great experience so far. Stay in a high floor in the tower wing facing Union Square; rooms are newer and have great views.
Centre of the city - Union Sq. It's a heritage hotel. Free Wifi in the lobby. Lots of shopping stores around the hotel.
The room itself is spacious and clean with all of the features you expect from a hotel of this standard. Love the location, in walking distance from many fine restaurants and other attractions.
Not sure about the historic rooms, but service and bar are excellent
At elevators enter floor number & insert room key in slot. Elevator only goes to your floor
valet parking only (off Geary), $55 + tax per night. great location!
Go see the shoe doctor! That man will take good care of your shoes.
Giant Sugar House for the Holidays!
Enjoying the view of Union Square from the St. Francis Suite on a beautiful day.
NICE sightseeing not all rooms be careful
The glass elevator ride is something special. Head down the hallway opposite reception and ride any car to the 32nd floor.
Loved the in room dining. All the staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Best of his business
Take the elevator up to 32 for the views
Late checkout on Sunday is great!
Bring ear plugs... It's a very noisy place.
Ask for an upper floor room with a view!
Nice Starbucks in the lobby with up-market seating area and free Wi-Fi. Perfect for a casual meeting!
Very.nice hotel convenient to.cable.car. No.pool
I like to stay in the new building
Showing it's age in a bad way :(

Check out the lobby in full holiday cheer.
Don't try and park your car here, you're looking at 60 a day.
It's loud. The 3am trash collection sounds like godzilla outside the tower. Also bring plenty of long cord chargers because the outlets in this wing couldn't be laid-out any worse
