Established in 1996, ThirstyBear Brewing Co. is SF's Only CCOF Organic Certified Brewery Serving Craft Ales and Lagers. We serve Spanish tapas, artisanal cocktails & wine.
Not the best menu as far as options, but I suppose this is more of a drinking place than an eating place.
Seemed to be a mostly after work crowd, but its a nice building. The panda bear beer was pretty tasty.
Panda Bear - with vanilla flavor was just perfect
Good beer good times. Closed for private events too often though.
Do not get the burger. It's really just not that good.
The ESB was legit
My burger was dry!!! But the calamari is yummy and you gotta try the Valencia Wheat beer, delicious
Tried three different beers, didn't like a single one of them. And neither did my stomach.
Great vibe and not too loud. Nice to have a drink and also be able to hear the person across from you.
Great Beer sampler 9 flavored 3 oz each
Thirsty Burger worth to try.
Closes at 11pm
The crispy potatoes and roasted Brussel sprouts are both amazing
Eggnog was quite tasty for a beer spot. Happy holidays!
Meh. Average food, average beers. Fun bar games upstairs but no one was playing them.
Delicious appetizers. Easy to meet big groups of people here. Only 1 IPA on tap: Howard Street Hoppy IPA 7% ABV
A nice brewery/restaurant in San Francisco. Lots of great things on tap, so be sure to grab the sampler. The Panda Bear, a golden ale with vanilla and cocoa nibs sounds odd, but is amazing!
There are better breweries in San Fran
Try set all beers set
Panda bear ale and polar bear pilsner 🍻

Awesome tapas selection and the paella is really good too
Our awesome waitress made a toddler friendly cup out of a to-go soup container!
The seasonal/specialty beers are always great here, especially their barrel-aged series.
Beer and cheese pairings are nice. Flamenco performances on Sunday nights
Nice to good with friends.
New Menu! Seared Ahi tuna, tortilla española, albóndigas, gambas al ajillo, ribs w/ ESB bbq sauce, melón con jamón, a new flatbread & pinchos…
This may be a brewery but the real star are the tapas. The craft beer is hit or miss so stick to the bourbon barrel aged beers when available.
This place is massive, great beers and great staff. Get the taster rack.
Pool table is upstairs
Thirstyburger is awesome.
They also have Excellent Tapas
Get the Beer Sampler - Only $12
The "tapas" taste really like spanish tapas, try them, they'll save you a $2000 flight ;)
Homebrewed beers with a very particular taste, try the "Panda" with cocoa and vanilla!
Good beer selection
Excellent tapas! Some of the absolute best in the city. Ask them to pair beer samples with each tapa to increase the dining experience.
slow service, slightly higher prices than expected and the food is okay. would only go for beer & snacks witing a large group in the future.
If you liked our Golden Vanilla in the past, check our out our Panda Bear. We added toasted cocoa nibs to whole vanilla beans to make a delicious organic golden ale.
Try the sample menu 🍺
Excelente opción para disfrutar de unas tapas con muy buena cerveza.
Only organic brewery in San Francisco
Anything on cask.
Great Bloody Mary with Tito's vodka.
Try the samplers to get a feel of all ales. I had the Panda Bear aka the Golden Vanilla. Flavorful. The seasonal double IPA Bitter Kiwi is surprisingly crisp & light. The food is really yummy too.
One of my favorite places to visit in the city! Great tapas and brews!
Come here for the beer (try the Valencia Wheat & the Grizzly Bear Red Ale) but pee somewhere else. The restroom smells like dead sockeye salmon.
Dr I nk beer
