Terrible place where you have to walk through the sewer mud swamp and smell Satan's intestines to get to the lift. Cheap though.
It is not laid out that well but the train deal from nyc is pretty good.
Close to the Westchester. Quick drive. Can do in afternoon after morning errands.

For kids ski school, call in advance. Morning sessions fill up fast.
30 minutes for 500' of vert is the norm.
