Self guided tours of the factory followed by a few samples. My favorite was the Swiss. We also grabbed two scoops of strawberry ice cream before hitting the road again.

Quite the attraction! They can get up to 35,000 people a day! Cheesy self guided tour of the cheese making process ending with free samples and a cafe with grilled cheeses and ice cream. Great stop!

Very cool, I had a great time learning about all the different types of cows, the exibit is free as well and the cheese tasting, really good fresh creamy ice cream and well priced fresh cheese curds.

Amazing deep fried cheese curds (don't pass these up). The grilled cheese sandwiches are very tasty. The ice cream portions are huge! Pictured is double scoop waffle cup.

The Tillamook cheese factory has a very quaint cafe serving you grilled cheese, wonderful burgers, deep fried cheese curds, and a nice variety of other things. Reasonably priced, a must stop!

Really nice to see how cheese is made and I love the free samples and selections of cheese in the store, but I have to say—I sort of feel bad for the workers.

Neat free tour and free samples, but you can get the cheese cheaper at your local grocery store. The Mac and Cheese tastes like the same Mac and cheese from The Old Country Buffet.

Visitor center being rebuilt. Still lots of samples, the store, the ice cream and restaurant. Great to get the cheese right from the source! Stock up!

Make sure to eat a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup at the café. Come after noon when it's a little less busy.

This is always a stop on our trip along the Oregon coast. Love the ice cream and my favorite is the soft caramels at the check out stands.

Head down the road towards Bay City about three miles to the Tillamook country smoker for fantastic beef stick, jerky and 2 ft long pepperoni. Cheaper than the cheese factory by nearly half!!!

Crazy busy. There are lots of little things to take home with you as well as cheese. Watch the assembly line and the way they keep it moving.

Apparently they're renovating the visitor center because other than the self-guided tour, there's nothing else to see. Don't eat lunch here. Service is slow and grilled cheese sandwich is rubbery.

Fascinating story. Do the tour. Sample the wares. Shop around. But skip the cafe. Totally meh. Make meal out of ice cream and cheese instead.

Everything is cheaper at local stores. Place is just a tourist trap, much of the product isn't even manufactured in Tillamook any more. Save your time and money and explore the forest or the beach.
