My favorite NYC coffeeshop of all time. Located inside the entrance to a pretty cool and modern looking bookstore. The coffee shop is also a flower shop and everything about it is absolutely beautiful

World class macchiatos, espressos and almond milk latte, a rich taste you'll always remember. Service here is spectacular. Wicked donuts and tarts too. Such a fun spot in the Flatiron District

Toby's Estate has some of the best coffee in NYC. Their pint-sized outpost in the Flatiron makes up for its diminutive size by being attached to a tiny (beautifully appointed) outpost of the Strand.

Sydney based Australian coffee house now roasting in Brooklyn. Amazing espresso drinks, ham&cheese croissant is great too. You can grab the coffee and enjoy it inside the strand bookstore too!!

The Flatiron Toby's is an outpost of their Williamsburg location - same tasty coffee, but no seating. Leave your laptops at home. :)

Different vibe than their Brooklyn counterpart, but no less great. Phenomenal coffee, great pastries. No food made on the premises, but the sandwiches they carry that are made fresh daily are great.

A very welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Toby's is standing only at this location, but you can always browse the adjacent Strand Books and Club Monaco with a coffee (with lid) in hand!

I've had (and loved) various coffee drinks from here before, but Ethiopian pour over had blown my mind today. Wow. Scent of honey and cardamom, super smooth and delicious to the last drop.

What a great place for a coffee spot. You can enjoy it in a book store or clothes section, very fancy interier. Stop by if you are around.

Its called Tobys Estate Coffee. Not Tobys Estate Free Wifi. Enjoy the coffee and write your screenplays somewhere else. Highly recommend the Americanos. Service is great and there's a Strand next door

I come in every 2 wks to restock my office supply and never remember the grind setting for my Aeropress. Luckily the staff is always super helpful. Toby's baristas are my fave baristas ever.

Cappuccino was fantastic. The crema layer was a little thick and gave off a strong bitter taste. Past that it was the perfect marriage between nuanced coffee with well steamed milk.

Get an iced latte then browse the Strand and Club Monaco! If you do want to sit though, grab a chair when you see one - there are only a few and it's often crowded.

Best coffee in NY hands down!!! And pro tip: grab a pour over then walk around corner to grab a dough donut for an afternoon treat that cannot be beat!

Get a good coffee and go inside to the flower/books hybrid shop. It's beautiful. Try and seat by the fireplace and relax.

Such a cozy little place in the middle of Flatiron. One of the best espressos you will find in the area.

Straight up latte, my fave new coffee place. I will walk a number of blocks out of my way to stop here in any type of weather. Top staff too.

Love the decor here, can't resist getting a cappuccino here whenever I'm on a NYC business trip. They also carry a few donut plant goodies here!

The loveliest little coffee shop in Flatiron. Take a break from your day with a cortado and sit in the back with a book (a real one) from Strand.

My new favorite coffee joint in the neighborhood! It's phenomenal! Beware: they have tempting, evil treats from Balthazar & The Doughnut Plant!

Mmm, we’re obsessed with this mixture of espresso, basil-mint simple syrup and whole milk in the espresso julep. But try it soon--it’s available only in the summer. Read more

My favourite branch is the one in Brooklyn, but this one is pretty cool too! No wifi or toilet though, more suitable for take-away coffee

Very solid coffee, but if you come here looking for a recreation of the BK location's vibe, prepare for disappointment - this branch caught a bad case of West Village.

Don't plan to sit or linger for long (it's physically impossible). If it's nice out, take your coffee to-go and chill in Madison Square Park.

It looks cute from outside and it is always busy with a lot of people each time I passed by this coffee shop so I want to give a try. It cost me $3 for a cup of regular coffee. It doesn't offer any so

I wish they had a few more seats and a bathroom in the 5th Ave branch, but the coffee is still outstanding.

Barista nicely (w/ no judging at all) explained the what a real macchiato, cappuccino, and several other drinks were to a friend of mine who basically only knows Starbucks coffee. Big points there.

This place gets packed quickly since it's both small and busy. Try to get in and out ASAP. Coffee is up to Toby's usual standards. Baristas seem like a parody of hipsters.

My family has actually done several taste tests and determined that Toby's is the best. However this location is so small and uncomfortable, it actually takes away from the product. Take it to go.

The seating layout is a nonsense (stools against the wall, blocking the only path to sugar) but espressos are really good.

Ridiculously good coffee in a beautiful space. Their cold brew pour over is, well, pretty much heavenly.
