Lobster tacos. Small portions but incredibley thoughtful dishes. Order what appeals to you, you're unlikely to go wrong, but order plenty of it.

Great food but service leaves much to be desired. Try some of the tacos --lots of great options (including one with grasshoppers, if you're in to that).
  • Daniel C.
Amazing high-end Mexican food! This is not your average taco shop, think truffle, grasshoppers and a great assortment of Tequilas and Mescals.

The taste is why this place is pricier than your usual Mexican fare. Both vegetarian paella de quinoa and Costilla de Res (braised beef short rib in molé sauce) were very good. Guacamole yums too!

Really incredible Mexican fare, make sure to try the pomegranate guacamole. The truffle and corn quesadilla is delicious, but definitely a starter size and not a main. Grab a frozen marg too!

The drinks here are succulent. Try the Toloache Margarita and Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita! The Chicken Enchiladas taste like beef, but they're not.. Insanely delicious. Also loved Fish Tacos!

You have to order all three of the guacamoles. You will eat them all and not regret it. Be sure to get the truffle quesadilla. Very, very good.

The Del Maestro margarita is amazing. I had the Langosta tacos and they some of the best tacos I've ever had, sweet and rich.

Guacamole trio is essential. Toloache margarita is the way to start. Get two orders of tacos, and try the shrimp! If you're really hungry, carne asada entry is for you. Excellent service

Featured on Unique Eats. Their food seems to be mostly refined Mexican. They have an item on the menu that is the smoked toasted grasshopper tacos. The food there looks amazing.

Try guac, camarones toloache, carne asada & the mescal cocktails. It's more mellow & smokier than tequila. One drawback: hostess spent 10+ minutes looking for our coats then asked for a tip! Huh?

Delicious tacos, full flavored & generously portioned brunch meals, capable cocktails, good tequila selection. Spacious interior. My go-to Mexican joint above 23rd St and family-friendly.

The guacamole, and skinny margarita were great. The lobster taco and black truffle quesadilla were fantastic! Don't miss the corn on the cob. Yum!!!

Cucumber jalepeno margarita is spicy, refreshing and delicious all at once. A gem of a pre-theater dinner, or just a break from the craziness of Times Square

Lobster tacos, pig carnitas were outstanding. Guac is great and the truffle quesadilla is outstanding. Guy next to us had the pulled pork sandwich with skinny fries and that looked delicious too.

“Toloache” is coincidentally the name of a Congolese river guide who told me the funniest joke I have ever heard. It gets lost in translation but contains the phrase, “hamster jorts.”

Last night's dinner. The beef and bone marrow tacos are fantastic. Pescado tacos too! Get the drink w/ rum, basil, lime and blackberries!

The tortillas are nice but FAR too thin for a single to be used on a taco, especially if yours are delivered. Get a side order of tortillas as well so you can double them up.

The carrot cake was actually quite delicious. So light/fluffy and the jalapeño cream on top is not much more than a whisper of spice. Nom!

The tacos are tiny, but DELICIOUS!!! It doesn't matter what kind, as they are all good. We did a sampling. This holds my heart for favorite tiny tacos during all my travels.

More worried about being a hip NY restaurant than about being nice and courteous to their guests. Felt cold and uninviting, food was good though not too expensive. They're just douchey.

Good! The Rojo Guac might be the best I've ever had. And the fried Brussels sprouts blew my socks off. Service good but food took longer than our neighbors, wish we were offered another drink.

This Mexican bistro is giving away shots of Riazul tequila for every Giants touchdown. If Riazul isn't how you roll, there're other options. Free bar appetizers: enchiladas and jalapeno poppers. Free.

Get the paella and toloache margarita! My big group was all but ignored by waitress due to large gratuity included. Better for more intimate dinners. Expensive.

Seriously fantastic. The foursquare special is the bomb. The food may be a smidge pricey, but it's fantastic. The guacs are awesome, but chipotle is the best. Great experience.

EVERYTHING is perfectly scrumptious, ALWAYS start with Trio of Guac, sitting @ the bar: have Miguel whip up one of his creative cktls to suit your mood, which will most certainly rise 2 'perfection'..
