Hand rolled , kettle boiled bagels in the heart of the East Village. We batch our dough fresh daily. Everything at TSB is made to order and cooked on the spot in our open kitchen.
the absolute best whole-wheat-everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Use seamless if you don't want to wait in the RIDICULOUS morning line.
Gluten free bagel with vegan tofu cream cheese
Don't be discouraged by the long lines. They move fast. Besides, where you gotta be?
Best bagel shop I've tried in the east village
Awesome bagels but smaller than Ess-A-Bagels.
Don't get your bagel toasted!
Jalapeño cheddar cream cheese ftw
Lots of seating with air conditioning. Music is too loud. Bagels are good.
Long lines but goes quickly and so worth it
The Chittle on Whole Wheat Everything bagel on Sunday mornings. Tip: get there before 9am to avoid the line
French Toast + Birthday Cake cream cheese
TimeOut recommends the Mac & Cheese bagel.
Get the chocolate chip bagel with cookie dough cream cheese!
Everything is good.
Best bagels in NYC. Birthday cake is also good alternative to the already delicious sandwiches
This place is everything.
The cucumber dill cream cheese is legendary
Yeah it's great, but go on a weekday. The line on a Saturday just isn't worth it.
Get here early on weekends to avoid long lines. Grab a bagel and iced coffee and go enjoy it in Tompkins Square Park.
Good service, they move the line along quickly. Can get crowded in the late morning so come around 9 AM on the wknd.
Anytime of day is bagel time when you're close to TSB. Cash only, and you'll want to bring lots of it. Fave ABC bagels.
French Toast Bagel quite good. But of crunch on the outside and nice and soft on the inside
Order this: sausage, egg, and cheese on a toasted everything bagel with hot sauce. You're welcome.
This place is CASH ONLY (their cash only signs are very easy to miss). The food here is delicious though and they have a large selection of bagels, cream cheese, and drinks.
I love their jalapeño cream cheese on an onion/garlic bagel
The vegan cookie looks nice, but does not taste like it
You can also create your own bagel by just naming the ingredients you'd like to have on. The price rises faster though...
amazing bacon egg and cheese! cash only
My favorite bagel in NYC. Great smear options and very friendly staff. Cash Only.
So worth the line
Any bagel you get is great. It's not worth coming late on weekend mornings though... The line is too long. Come later in the day or on a weekday
Bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. Game over.
Delicious bagels, but double-check that they gave you the right order. On busy weekends, it's pretty common to get handed the wrong bagel.
Alan Cumming comes here! Life is a gluten-filled cabaret, old chum.
Cash only - won't be back
Get coffee at 9th St Espresso or OST to help you endure the line. It's gross here anyway.
This place is my spot. Egg bagel!
The bagel perfected. Somehow the blend of flavors on the everything bagel is absolutely ideal every time.
We've tried many a bagel, but Tompkins is our favourite (so far). Skip all the specialty sandwich offerings (which are a bit stingy in servings) and go for walnut raisin cream cheese or roast beef.
try a bagel with Birthday cake cream cheese or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cream cheese $3.85
Crowded but worth it. And the line moves fast. Service is very friendly too. Sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox and cucumber is a staple order.
the "everything pumpernickel" is not always listed but you def want to give it a try. Pairing well with tuna salad or Chittle if you're hungry!
Try the jalapeño cheddar cream cheese-- perfect balance of salty and spicy.
the weezer - bacon, chorizo, egg, cheddar, & bacon scallion cream cheese
Nice fluffy bagels. Cash only. Avoid on weekend mornings when all the yuppies converge. The line is much shorter on weekdays.
Really nice vegan tofu cream cheese (olive tofu spread, woo!)
I still think the bagels could do with a little toasting, but that's just me.
Our favorite spot to get bagels. This place is consistently a shit show though. Super busy. Expect to wait, but it's worth it.
NSFW: whole wheat, eggs, bacon, avocado (+$1.50)
Huge variety of bagels. The service could improve a lot.
