Get coffee at 9th St Espresso or OST to help you endure the line. It's gross here anyway.

This place is my spot. Egg bagel!

The bagel perfected. Somehow the blend of flavors on the everything bagel is absolutely ideal every time.

We've tried many a bagel, but Tompkins is our favourite (so far). Skip all the specialty sandwich offerings (which are a bit stingy in servings) and go for walnut raisin cream cheese or roast beef.

Crowded but worth it. And the line moves fast. Service is very friendly too. Sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox and cucumber is a staple order.

the "everything pumpernickel" is not always listed but you def want to give it a try. Pairing well with tuna salad or Chittle if you're hungry!

Nice fluffy bagels. Cash only. Avoid on weekend mornings when all the yuppies converge. The line is much shorter on weekdays.

Really nice vegan tofu cream cheese (olive tofu spread, woo!)

I still think the bagels could do with a little toasting, but that's just me.

Our favorite spot to get bagels. This place is consistently a shit show though. Super busy. Expect to wait, but it's worth it.

One of the best bagel spots downtown. If you want something other than a schmear, try the Grieve.

    Andrew Litvak · March 6

Long line. So worth the wait. The bacon egg and cheese bagels are the best bargain, as the sandwiches are kind of pricey. This place is extremely fresh.

Out of everything bagels at 8:45 am on a Ess-A-Bagel's sausage egg and cheese tasted way better. I'm hoping it was a fluke because other reviews are raving. I'll try it one more time.

It's not a good idea to order from this place (talking about Seamless or phone orders), better come get your bagels in person to avoid constant mix-ups and more than 2 hours wait.
